Awesome Music / Yoshi's Story

Go To

  • Love is in the Air, the music played in The Tall Tower, is a soothing acoustic and violins mix of the main theme.
  • Ending Story, the credits theme. Very calm, cute and beautiful, but also able to make even people who never played the game feel nostalgic.
  • The Intro theme is another beautiful and nostalgic song featuring the Yoshis singing in harmony.
  • Baby Bowser's Lullaby sounds like a twisted lullaby, with that Ominous Music Box Tune and suspiciously similar melody to The Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.
  • Yo-Yo-Yoshi, from Jelly Pipe, Torrential Maze, and Piranha Grove. Hip-hop in a Yoshi game is a bit unexpected - but it works well with that snappy beat, low-pitched Yoshi vocal samples, and groovy rhythm.
  • Yoshi on the Beach, an incredibly catchy and relaxing tropical theme from Cloud Cruise and Shy Guy's Ship, with prominent use of steel drums and the ukulele.
  • Come Back To Me, the rather earwormy tune that plays for most of Jungle Hut. This song features traces of a Surf Rock tone but has a minimalist presentation, almost as if it's playing from a radio.
  • If you listen to the BGM as you progress from one stage to the next, you'll realize that most of the songs are actually different mixes of the same riff. Awesomeness on the part of the composer.
  • Yoshis in the Wind is a sweet little lullaby-esque tune.
