  • "Atlas" is a peaceful yet lively track that captures the open world of many of the safer planets.
  • "Horsehead Nebula" is amazingly calm yet triumphant.
  • "Casiopeia" is a somber, mysterious track with an Ethereal Choir of both male and female voices. It's very reminiscent of the tracks from Halo.
  • "Tranquility Base" and "Mira" are very sad and bleak sounding tracks.
  • "Vast, Immortal Suns." Just the name alone tells you it has to be good, but it doesn't even come close to conveying just how triumphant the song is, or how perfectly it captures the game's spirit of exploration. It's more or less the musical embodiment of how The World Is Just Awesome.
  • "Large Magellanic Cloud" is a soft, peaceful lullaby of a sound that perfectly captures the feeling of looking up at the stars at night.
  • "M54" may not get the blood pumping, but its solo piano is beautifully calm.
  • "Event Horizon" has bright horns and tense strings that provide a suitable backdrop to the challenge rooms.
  • "Gravitational Collapse" is a string and drum heavy track that gets the player fired up for battle.
  • "Forest". A simple, light and playful tune that evokes the joy of skipping through, you guessed it, a forest.
  • "Error 0xbfaf000". A calm and peaceful track that opens up into a bright and bold end, exhorting the listener to go on an adventure. It's basically The Call in musical form.
  • "The Deep" is a slow, peaceful Japanese-style melody that one could imagine a Hylotl meditating to.
  • "I Was The Sun (Before it was Cool)". A jaunty western guitar tune that fits perfectly with the Space Western motif of the Novakid.
  • "Desert Battle 2" opens slowly with an ominous whistle overlaying the western guitars of "I Was The Sun (Before it was Cool)" and then fuses in fast, pounding electro-beats. It's the perfect theme for a Space Western Showdown at High Noon.
  • "Planetarium", a peaceful theme that sounds almost like a jingle that would be heard in a store.
  • "Inviolate", an intense electric and orchestral piece that captures the feeling of exploring the ruined cities of Toxic and Decayed planets.
  • The battle theme for Asra Nox and Big Ape is a synth heavy piece with pounding drums and electronic sounding beeps. A perfect fit for both technological bosses.
  • The theme for the Final Boss is absolutely epic with tense electric guitars, haunting choir and deep drumbeats. It's perfect for battling The Ruin for the fate of the Universe.
  • Swansong, the theme of the True Final Boss, Asra Nox piloting the eponymous mech, is a techno-remix of the theme for The Ruin, fitting for The Remnant of the Ruin's plans.
  • Housecleaning from the 1.4 Bounty Hunter update. An absolutely amazing heroic and upbeat techno piece that gets you pumped up and ready to hunt down some bounties as a Peacekeeper!
  • "Stellar Formation" is a thrilling number that evokes the excitement of arriving on a new planet, setting up a base, and then heading out to explore and tame your surroundings.
  • "Starbound" is a calm, peaceful piano melody that evokes the feeling of an open universe that is there for you to explore.
