Pre-release

  • Web searches for Low Roar's haunting, evocative "I'll Keep Coming" skyrocketed after the first trailer, and for damn good reason, too.
  • The E3 2018 trailer theme, SILENT POET's "Asylums for the Feeling" featuring Leila Adu, really adds to the game's melancholic and eerie atmosphere.
  • The release date 2019 trailer used the song "PATH" by metal band Apocalyptica, using the metal riffs and a beautiful cello piece to mix in with the game's dark but still elegant-esque style.
  • The announcement of the soundtrack Death Stranding: Timefall (Original Music from the World of Death Stranding) and its first single "Death Stranding" by Scottish Synth-Pop band Chvrches was very well received by fans. The song in particular is slated to be the game's Ending Theme. Its upbeat sound and While Rome Burns lyrics have been interpreted as both heartwarming and tearjerking, but nonetheless beautiful.
    You can take my heart
And hold it together as we fall apart
Maybe together we can make a mark in the stars we embark
And keep us together as the lights go dark
  • "Ludens" by Bring Me the Horizon manages to combine multiple elements of the band's sound into an unforgettable song that's certain to leave a lasting impression to listeners. From the ecletic Amo-influenced electro-synth sound, to the hard hitting nu-metal tinge and powerful choruses of That's the Spirit, and especially the glorious return of the breakdown, last seen in Sempiternal.
