Awesome Music / Afrojack

Afrojack is one of the more catchy-sounding musicians of the Electronic Dance Music scene. He has created bangers throughout his career that are impossible to forget. From his basic but jumpy saw synth melody lines to his rather Pop-sounding club anthems, it's no wonder he is a staple of this scene.

  • "Take Over Control" is his breakout hit, and those jumpy synths and vocals will probably make you jump around yourself.
  • "Can't Stop Me" is a club song with heavy kick drums, inspiring lyrics, and distorted piano melodies.
  • "No Beef" is a house song that contains twinkly melodies and a sine wave drop. The auto-tuned vocals were chopped up at the drop, and it's likely you'll play this more than once.
  • Forget the World (2014), his debut album, faced criticism for being watered down, but that epic Afrojack-style remains intact here.
    • "Ten Feet Tall" stands out from the rest. You'll probably cry pure tears of joy that a song like this exists, and you'll come alive during the distinctive beefy beat drop part.
    • "Dynamite" will make you jump. Snoop Dogg does his killer rapping here. The drop is monstrous and contains a long, distorted melody.
    • "The Spark". The guitar strums and Spree Wilson's rap singing will make your head bob involuntarily.
  • "Anywhere With You", though it doesn't contain that same Afrojack style anymore since this was during the decline, still has a classic EDM sound to it. This song contains a flute melody with a lovely piano solo.
  • "Hero" with David Guetta. That playful singing of Luxtides (Danni Bouchard, and not credited) is what you'll remember the most.
