  • From the 2015 edition:
    • Triple H calling out Sting dressed not in his usual business suit, but in street clothes like he's gonna get into a fight. He then tries to talk Sting into leaving the WWE in exchange for making a mint off of merchandise royalties. Of course it turns into a brawl between the two. Even when Triple H has his trusty sledgehammer, Sting beats him to the punch with his baseball bat, making him drop the hammer (as in toss it out of the ring) and corners him. He then points to the WrestleMania sign, showing that's what he wants, all without saying a word. Triple H tries to jump him again, but gets a bat to the gut, and a Scorpion Deathdrop for his trouble.
    • Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns have the main event for the evening, and whoever wins will face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. The two of them go back and forth with each other, even with Roman Reigns being the first to kick out of the Running Knee. The match ends with Bryan going for another knee, only for Reigns to catch him with a spear and win the match. Bryan didn't like the result, but he does tell Roman: "You better kick his ass!" This was, almost universally, considered one of the only good matches of the night (alongside Rusev/Cena). Considering how big of a Base-Breaking Character Roman is, this says a lot...
    • Rusev kicked a lot of asses in his first year on the main WWE roster, but he scored the biggest win of his career when he got John Cena - John freakin' Cena - to pass out to the Accolade. Granted, it took a distraction from Lana, but it took 11 years for Cena to ever lose to a submission hold.
  • The 2016 edition has AJ Styles's first proper WWE pay-per-view match, in which he hit Chris Jericho with a Styles Clash, then made him tap out to the Calf Crusher.
  • Goldberg wins his first championship in fourteen years by winning the Universal Championship from Kevin Owens at the 2017 edition in 15 seconds.
    • Bayley successfully defended the Raw Women's Championship against Charlotte Flair and finally ended Charlotte's undefeated steak at single matches on PPV.
  • At the 2018 edition, Randy Orton defeated Bobby Roode to capture the only title he hadn't won yet in his career, the United States Championship. This victory also makes him the 18th Grand Slam Champion.
