• In the Trinity of Sin: Pandora tie-in, Pandora takes down Giganta with an exploding machete to the eye. This is after Giganta pummeled her into the ground.
• A villainous example: The Outsider, leader of the Secret Society, has been working in the shadows and spent five years setting up Trinity War. He's such a chessmaster, that none of the Leagues suspect he or the Secret Society has been behind all this until the finale. Everything goes according to plan: the Leagues are weakened, they unsuspectingly bring Pandora's Box to him, and he brings his masters, the Crime Syndicate of Earth 3, to Prime Earth. It's not often the bad guys win. For a butler, the Outsider's accomplishments are quite impressive.
