  • The demonstration of the humungous Tesla Coils. In fact, pretty much all of Nikola Tesla's stuff as portrayed in this film.
  • Borden's execution (and revenge):
    "Any last words?"
    "Abracadabra."
    *BANG*
  • Michael Caine's closing monologue.
Now you're looking for the secret. But you won't find it because of course, you're not really looking. You don't really want to work it out. You want to be...fooled.
    • Cut to "Analyze" playing over end credits.
  • In hindsight, Cutter being able to guess the secret of the seemingly impossible Borden's act right from the start - and then never wavering - can be counted as this.
    • One can actually argue that really the best magician in the film is Cutter.
  • The first trick we see is one with a bird in a cage that gets crushed, and it goes off without a hitch, the audience loving it... except for one boy who is crying, and asks where the (now shown live) bird's brother is. He figured it out watching it just once.
  • The first times that you see "The Transported Man" and "The Real Transported Man" tricks played out in full.
  • Borden's bullet catching trick, and how he addresses his first volunteer to fire the gun.
Borden: Are you man enough, sir?
    Angier: Yes I am.
  • Borden sabotaging "The New Transported Man", upstaging Angier and promoting his own act in the process. It was a completely dickish thing to do, but very cool all the same.
