• "The Winner's Circle" has the Jackson Five find out their racehorse that won't run WILL do so if he hears the Five singing, and rename him "Groovy." After A.J. Floogle gets a hypnotist to cause the Five to lose their voice, Rosie, Ray and Charles get them to regain it by all of them saying a magic word Rosie uses her body to spell all at once: "Soul." Cue musical intro to (according to That Other Wiki) "How Funky Is Your Chicken?" as they sing, and Michael hanging on to a super-charged Groovy to win a race against Floogle.
  • The episode ends with "The Jackson Five.." and a spotlight on Groovy, "Plus One!" (Previously, Michael, who wanted to be a jockey, had left his brothers "The Jackson Four.")
