• John Ryder proves how badass he is by shooting down a helicopter with a revolver. Then, later on, Ryder jumps through the windshield of a moving car.
• 'I DON'T WANNA DIE!' Also: plane versus truck in the sequel was pretty cool.
• The final scene in the first one. Jim hijacks the Sheriff's car, hunts Ryder down, runs him over, and shoots him dead.
• Real Life example: Rutger Hauer did his own stunt driving.
• Grace killing Ryder in the remake.
• Sheriff Esteridge. Jim takes his gun and points it at his head and the sheriff doesn't even flinch, just continues to gently try to talk Jim down.
