• Kumatetsu vs Iōzen. Yes, Kumatetsu loses, but they both showed off their impressive skills.
• Kyuta showing off his Awesome by Analysis technique by easily evading Kumatetsu, having his teacher hurt himself.
• Kyuta giving a Curb-Stomp Battle to the three human delinquent boys all by himself to rescue Kaede. We see them attack him, the frame slides back to show the two delinquent girls looking increasingly shocked before running off and we see Kyuta victorious
• Kumatetsu's Heroic Second Wind and defeat of Iōzen. After recklessly running through his strength, Kyuka's arrival gets Kumatetsu to pull himself together and he proceeds to beat Iōzen through skill, even shattering his sheath.
• Kaede's beautiful "The Reason You Suck" Speech to Ichirōhiko, which also shows off her Nerves of Steel.

• Kumatetsu pulling off a Heroic Sacrifice to help Kyuta defeat Ichirōhiko. His sword fills the void inside Kyuta and the two of them work together to unleash a blow that shatters Ichirōhiko's darkness.
