General
- Bibury Studios went above and beyond on Season 1 of the anime, with excellent animation, casting, and direction, and a good understanding of the manga and what to add, cut, and change in adaptation. The fandom widely considers it one of those adaptations that manages to improve on the source material.
Chapter 9 / Episode 6
- Rentarou managing to hear Shizuka when she calls for help, despite the quietness of her voice.
Chapter 15 / Episode 9
- All the girls make the choice to join Rentarou on his mission to rescue Hakari from her mother.
Chapter 19 / Episode 11
- Rentarou managing to redirect Hakari into the fountain when she falls out the window.
Chapter 26
- Nano exploiting her Primal Fear to stimulate her appetite so she can win second place in one of the rounds in the eating contest.
Chapter 32
- However brief it was, Mei vs Nano during the Maid Squirt-gun shootout.
- In the same event above, Hahari casually taking out Kurumi with a decoy (An Anpan bun).
- Hakari takes her mother hostage to coerce Mei into taking herself out of the game. Hahari responds by shooting herself in the head, leaving Mei free to shoot Hakari.
Chapter 36
- The family managing to outsmart the opposing team's fastball pitch during the baseball arc.
Volume 5 Extra
- Shizuka's singing at Karaoke literally blew the family (sans Rentarou) out of the building they were in in chapter 38.
- The bonus chapter of the volume revealed that Rentarou rushed out and caught all of them out of the air before they could hit the ground!
Chapter 43
- Rentarou successfully reaching Hahari and bringing her to her senses.
Chapter 71
- Chiyo intervening to prevent Naddy from going too far with her classmates in getting them to stop smoking, and later coming to Naddy's aid when she's being questioned by a pair of police officers investigating a disturbance report at the park.
Chapter 77
- Mei gets caught in a bath so cold that she's unable to move, and warns Hahari not to come in. Hahari does so anyway, hugs Mei for warmth and gets her out.
Chapter 80
- Iku dragging a large tree all by herself in order to help Yamame out of a chasm.
Chapter 82
- As Kishika's chapter to shine, we get to see her engaging the entire harem in a battle royale by herself. While the girls' combined efforts manage to force her to fight seriously at the end, the majority of the fight is a Single-Stroke Battle in Kishika's favor.
- Yaku and Naddy, having each practised kendo previously, put up a good fight against her until Kishika stops holding back. Yaku in particular effortlessly evades Kishika's attacks and even pulls off some acrobatic maneuvers along the way.
- Hahari wins the royale, by taking advantage of there being so many girls for the audience to keep track of that she bid her time and waited until Kishika thought she took everyone out. Then Hahari popped the would-be knight's balloon while she was kissing Rentarou. Hahari also took advantage of the fact that even though Rentarou was in a position to see what was about to happen, he couldn't say anything due to his role as impartial referee.
Chapter 83
- Mimimi conquering her fear of getting food stains on her clothes by eating a bowl of “Messy-As-Hell” ramen, and then some. The noodles are so messy that drops of broth shoot, not merely spill, shoot out of the bowl like bullets. And Mimimi dodges them point-blank as if she was in The Matrix, finishing her bowl without a single stain on her.
- Kurumi being able to eat a giant boulder of ramen the size of a human and not get sick.
Chapter 86
- Mei guiding everyone to Rentarou's pocky with her eyes closed.
Chapter 99
- All the girlfriends working together to complete the relay race in spite of carrying a lubricated baton. Even the physically weaker girls ignore their weaknesses and flaws in order to push on.
- Mimimi is the one to finish the race, redeeming herself for failing the marathon from two chapters ago where a rival took advantage of her insecurity about her looks to slow her down. When said rival tries it again, Mimimi is seen making a viciously determined face in response.Mimimi: Did you not see all my friends carrying this baton to their anchor? Someone who's desperately giving their all for the sake of their loved ones looks as naturally beautiful as can be!

Chapter 104
- Yamame tosses boulders into a stream to give a rabbit stepping stones.
- Also there's a brief panel of her holding a freakin' bear back.
- Rentarou went through the forest to remove several degenerates from the path of the girlfriends who were out exploring the forest. He's injured and bleeding while there's a pile of bruised and broken men behind him.
Chapter 117
- Hakari manages to engage in Loophole Abuse in the zombie nurse tag game by having Yamame pull a Fastball Special with Momiji.
Chapter 121
- Hakari, Mimimi, and Rin all working together to stop a rough-houser having her way at the Nirvana Family convention. Especially the moment Rin's toy busts out Chainsaw Man mode, as most fans probably heard "KICKBACK" when the massacre started.
Chapter 133
- Eira and Kishika engage in a duel where they try to pop balloons on each other's heads, similar to Kishika's duel against everyone in Chapter 82. While that battle had Kishika largely dominating everyone and she only lost because of a sneak attack, Eira and Kishika have a very even fight that ends with both of them popping each other's balloons at the same time. Even more impressive on Eira's part since she didn't even use a sword, instead using her capoeira skills to fight with her legs.
Chapter 144
- Rentarou manages to secure his first proposal with one of his girlfriends. The girlfriend in question just so happens to be Karane.
Chapter 154
- The second idol performance by the 13 girls who joined the harem after the first performance manages to live up to the legacy of their predecessors.
Chapter 163
- Meme saving Shizuka from being blown away in the wind despite her bangs being blown off her face.
Chapter 164
- Crossing over with Nightmare Fuel, after Matsuri tries to undo a wish to make an eternal festival and is driven to tears when the God of Infinity refuses, Rentarou manages to resist the hypnosis that the wish caused and begins threatening to kill the god. The god says this should be impossible, as the pain of defying his power should've shattered Rentarou's mind. When the god tries to intensify his power, Rentarou starts to walk away, only to stop in his tracks and do an Exorcist Head as he reiterates his desire to kill the god and burn down his shrine. Rentarou was able to summon up something out of someone's deepest nightmares and SCARE a god into fixing the world.
