- When Miyo finally resurrects the guardian dragon with the Dragon Pearl, you spend the rest of the game with the dragon orbiting you. Every one of the stone blocks still in your way? Obliterated. That demon snake that was chasing you up to this point (as well as every other snake in the game)? One-shotted. You still need to worry about drowning, but every other obstacle in your way is no longer an issue. This ultimately ends up being Miyo's key to escaping from the cursed cave once and for all.
- For completing the game in its Nintendo Hard Original Difficulty, you get a "Demon Snake Hunter" certificate that honors your skill. It's artwork that depicts Miyo confidently and smugly grinding a miniaturized demon snake in her fist, representing how she's no longer afraid of them, and may now be on her way towards eliminating them all from the cave thanks to the Guardian Dragon.
