  • Harry saves Asta from her abusive ex-husband.
  • To intimidate Max, Harry tries to torture him by giving him stitches without anesthetic. Max refuses to scream and even eggs him on to give him more stitches. Then Max leaves him by tricking him with the old "Your shoe's untied" joke.
  • Sahar isn't intimidated when Max shows her Harry for the first time. She even gets a closer look and deliberately knocks a drink into his lap. Granted, she's clearly not able to see Harry's true form like Max can, but her new best friend's distrust is enough for her to be perfectly willing to cause trouble for his sake.
  • In "Love Language", Sahar manages to convince Harry that killing Max would be counter-intuitive, ultimately forcing him to declare a truce with Max.
  • In "The Green Glow," Liv Baker up and quits after Sheriff Thompson has the nerve to try to chastise her for being insensitive.
  • D'Arcy's epic one-armed climb out of a crevasse — after two serious falls — to rescue Asta and Harry.
  • Kate and Ben Hawthorne going full Mama Bear and Papa Wolf on the government agents who made the mistake of threatening their son (and his friend). Their opponents are a trained military officer and a psychopathic assassin — and they simply annihilate them through sheer protective fury, bludgeoning Lisa and David with the nearest blunt instruments. To the tune of a schmoopy romantic song, which then gets a reprise as they make out in the aftermath.
  • Harry and Lisa's two encounters in "Escape From New York." The first one is quick, with Harry grabbing her and throwing her through a skylight before she can get a good look at him. She survives with just some minor scratches. Then there's the fight on the train, where she's giving off a good impression of being a ninja and Harry is dodging/blocking her attacks while barely trying. This continues until Harry forces her out the window and a train moving in the opposite direction takes off her head.
  • When Asta won't reveal the truth about Harry to D'Arcy, still trying to protect her at the cost of sacrificing their friendship, Harry himself reveals his alien form. D'Arcy immediately understands and completely forgives Asta.
