- Kozelek gets one for willing to walk away from 4AD in order to make Songs for a Blue Guitar the way he wanted it to. The fact it turned out to be the most commercially successful album he made at the time makes it even better.
- When Kozelek's AC/DC cover album was released, there was a radio promo where a DJ spun a few songs. On the air the DJ audibly said "I swear to God I was listening to Leonard Cohen there", showing just how drastically Mark changes the songs he covers.
