• When they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013, they performed "Fight the Power" as part of a medley. This included the line "Now Elvis was a hero to most/But he never meant shit to me" and its accompanying accusations of Elvis being racist. Elvis was one of the very first Rock Hall inductees in 1986. The fact that the group had the balls to slander any past inductee (let alone Elvis) at the ceremony is pretty amazing. And the crowd loved it.
