One word. AMERICA! On Independence day, everyone starts celebrating an in game party with good ol American avatars, even the ones who aren't actually American! Started with Riv playing George Washington as a Zombie Hunter, Badger playing Matt, Gear as Lt Surge and Flippy, Higgin as Abraham Lincoln, and to top it off? Jam as THE GOOD OL CAP AMERICA HIMSELF! Pure, unadulterated levels of America commenced almost immeadiately. It was AWESOME.
It starts simply enough, with Cloud trying to get Majora to kill him, believing he has nothing left to live for due to forgetting his family and losing Fen. She refuses, despite Hazama's encouragement and Cloud revealing a few facts about himself he usually keeps hidden. The room tries to talk her down from it, and just when things look like they're about to be resolved, a Shadow shows up, and things... escalate. And to top it all off, Sephiroth shows up from nowhere as well. Cloud is less than pleased.
The Final Battle against Homucifer, which really starts here. Meta-wise, this was also well-done; due to her ability to split into five copies of herself, this managed to avert the otherwise inevitable "clusterfuck" syndrome that most fights like this would cause. Highlights include: Archer and Homucifer literally clashing their worlds against one another, Raidou summoning the Matador, a duel within a dreamscape between Twin Moons and Homucifer, and Gaige being Gaige by blasting things with Deathtrap.
