• In Takao's epilogue, he and the protagonist are vacationing at a hot springs when a man breaks into their room and tries to rob them at gunpoint. With nerves of steel, Takao manages to calmly and steadily talk the would-be robber down, and even gives him advice on how to obtain financial assistance from the government to help care for his sick wife, which was what had made him desperate enough to resort to robbery in the first place.
