  • Eliza impressing everyone at the embassy ball and even fooling another linguist.
    • While also Tear Jerking, Eliza throwing Higgins's slippers at his head after his callous treatment towards her, leaving the man confused and baffled afterward.
    • Higgins's mother being in Eliza's corner when she leaves the Higgins household, calmly but firmly telling Higgins he'll have to learn to live without Eliza after he's driven her away.
  • "If they can do without you, ducky, so can I!"
  • Higgins' genuinely heartfelt speech to Eliza about the pure beauty of the English language while assuring her she'll conquer the challenge of mastering it. It's right after this that Eliza finally does as Henry says, implying that his words were so inspiring that it did what none of their prior efforts could do.
  • "The Rain in Spain" counts, with Eliza finally achieving an upper class diction, with both Higgins and Pickering ecstatically celebrating with her and dancing along. After seeing them struggle to get to this point, the audience will be just as happy as Henry when he bellows out "By George she's got it".
