• The Latex Perfection reveal towards the climax, where Ambrose realizes that it was not Ethan Hunt that he just executed. And that the remedy, Bellerophon, is missing. Played in synch with Hans Zimmer's awesome remix of the main theme.
• That sequence where the blade of Ambrose's knife comes within a quarter-inch of Ethan's eyeball and then Ethan and Ambrose struggle for control of it? That is a real knife being held a quarter-inch from Tom Cruise's own eyeball per his request for the take.
  • The entire Ambrose vs. Hunt fight. It helps that the two are matched in build, strength, and fighting skills. Ethan wins by pure luck.
• Nyah out gambitting Ambrose when he orders her to give him the final and only sample left of his bio-weapon. He threatens to shoot her and Ethan if she doesn't hand it over, but he will kill them anyway if she does. So she injects herself with it. Crowned by the magnificent Hans Zimmer's track, appropriately titled "Injection".
  • And then in the same scene, in what can obly be described as the Moment of Awesome inside the Moment of Awesome, the previously unashamedly selfish Nyah suddenly goes from awesome but arguably self-serving out-gambitting Ambrose to full-blown Heroic Sacrifice of herself. She survives, but it's still Hidden Depths at its finest indeed.
