- In Issue 3, Marius holds off several demons while Tessa creates an ice barrier using barrels of frostrock and arrows. It allows them to save a group of villagers pinned down by a Fade Rift.
- In Issue 5, Marius, Tessa and Sutherland's company bring down a massive pride demon. Marius finishes it off by thrusting his sword into its mouth.
