  • First of all, It is A Song of Ice and Fire characters playing Yu-Gi-Oh!. That alone is awesome.
  • The first duel in the series is Davos vs Stannis, and ends with Davos using United We Stand to defeat Stannis with an Archfiend Soldier with 5100 Attack thanks to Scapegoat.
  • Sam is shown to be a natural in chapter 2. He has not lost against his brother, and while he is forced to take the black by his father still, his mother gifts him with DARK MAGICIAN.
  • Robert catching Meryn Trant before he can rape a five year old. He brings Jaime, Varys, and Barristan along and they force Trant to surrender.
    • Also a minor one for Myrcella, who told Robert about Trant, even though her Septa told her not to.
  • Jon vs Theon. Jon ends up victorious, but Theon made him work for the victory. Highlights include:
    • Jon equipping Obnoxious Celtic Guardian with Lightning Blade, powering him up while also weakening most monsters in Theon's deck.
    • Theon using Horn of the Unicorn to empower his Fiend Kraken.
    • Jon summoning Summoned Skull and Blue Flame Swordsman to finish Theon off.
  • Robert vs Meryn Trant in a duel as a Trial by Combat.
    • Trant's Mirror Wall gives Robert some trouble, but uses Drain Shield to outlast its time on the field
    • Trant using Cyber Jar, and then summoning monsters that can attack directly and keeping Robert trapped with Swords of Revealing Light.
    • Robert Drawing Mystical Space Typhoon after getting a Heroic Second Wind after seeing Tommen and Gendry in the crowd. He then summons Perfect Machine King and wins the duel and kills Trant.
  • Viserys has been training at a tea shop that offers free drinks for those who can defeat the staff. It may not be much, but it is more than we ever saw in canon.
  • Baelish One-Turn-kills another brothel owner who tries to kill him.
    • He ritual summons Reshef by sacrificing Invader of Darkness, takes his opponent's only monster, and since he is 50 attack points short, uses Monster Reborn to bring back Invader of Darkness.
  • OBERYN VS TYWIN
    • Tywin remains calm before the duel, and is able to use his decade old combat training to jump to his feet once he notices Oberyn.
    • The duel itself takes place in the First Mine of Casterly Rock.
    • Oberyn's monsters specialize in dealing effect damage, but Tywin is constantly on the defense, using Stone Wall monsters such as Stone Statue of the Aztec. By the end of the first turn, the Life Points are Tywin: 3100, Oberyn: 2400.
    • Oberyn gets Tywin all the way down to 100 Life Points
    • TYWIN WINS WITH EXODIA.
      • This has to be elaborated on. Tywin did not just draw all five pieces of Exodia. He drew the level 5 Leogun, which allowed him to sacrifice his Witch of the Black Forest, allowing him to directly bring the final piece into his hand.
  • Chapter 11 is a huge Wham Episode. Turns out the Valyrians controlled the dragons using the Millennium Items and Signer Marks. And the Doom was them stopping a Mad Scientist from unleashing some sort of demon on the rest of the world.
    • The implication of this chapter is that Bran will get the Millennium Necklace.
      • Which the next chapter reveals is in the posession of Varys who used it to save Aegon from the sack, and all of King's Landing from Aerys.
  • Stannis and Robert settle their differences with a cathartic case of Good Old Fisticuffs.
  • Turns out Euron has the Millennium Eye. He stole it from Bloodraven.
  • Mace Tyrell had a Dying Momentof Awesome, getting his oppenent, A Sparrow, down to only 50 Life Points, and had four high level Plant monsters on the field. Unfortunately, his opponent had Megamorph. Though Garland immediately avenged him.
  • When Leo Tyrell brings up Lynesse, Lord Leyton Hightower lifts him by his chain and tells him to never say that name.
    • Leyton also remembers that Gerold Hightower was a signer with the Crimson Dragon's Wing on his arm.
  • After several chapters of preparation by everyone, we get to see how the cards affect warfare. It turns out there is a WAR MODE. In this mode, monsters can be summoned as physical beings, spells and traps can be set or used, and soldiers can summon high level monsters by giving up Life Points.
    • In the first battle of the War, the Royal Army captures Kingsgrave with relatively few causualties, even despite the surprise of War Mode.
      • Ser Daven Lannister gets the first kill of the war, when he cuts down Skull Servant before he can kill Ser Beric.
      • Ser Beric and his Vorse Raider are the ones responsible for ending the battle by forcing Lord Manwoody to surrender.
  • Gerold Dayne gets a big case of Adaptational Badass for being a Dark Signer. He even uses his power to corrupt Dawn.
