• In an interview, Chris Jericho told the world who really came up with one of his most hilarious gimmicks yet - the "List of Jericho" - and surprisingly, it was the brainchild of Jimmy Jacobs.
  • He was also the writer of the "Festival of Friendship" segment, which was both hilariously over the top (Jericho) and perfectly-timed brutal heel turn (KO).
• October 2017, Wrestlecircus. Jimmy Jacobs makes his triumphant return to indy wrestling, and proceeds to throw kayfabe out the window in a perfectly-delivered shoot promo:
  Jimmy: The Zombie Princess Jimmy Jacobs is in the house tonight, and it feels good! You guys have no idea how good it feels to be here. This is the first time that I have set foot through a curtain and into a ring in two and a half years! I know interrupting is a little "unprofessional", but bear with me. For the past two and a half years, I've been wearing a suit and tie, writing promos for guys that couldn't hold my microphone. But while I was gone, I heard an interview you did, Sami. You said, "NXT's bullshit! This is bullshit! That's bullshit!" You wanna know what's bullshit? No, no, not me getting fired for taking a selfie with The Young Bucks, that was pretty cool. No, Sami, everything you say is bullshit. You call yourself a king? I am taking over your kingdom. The king is dead...and the Princess is here.
  • He then proceeds to spear the hell out of Callihan, catch a chair thrown into the ring by a fan, and then sit down with arms spread, daring Callihan to come back and try again.
