     Round 1
  • Natalie successfully defusing a secrets motive by pushing and pushing until almost everyone gave up their greatest secrets willingly. Of course, people still die, but that took a lot of work.
  • Billy Harris standing up to Hook.
  • Anna's performance in the second trial, putting together everyone's theories to something that made sense despite her misgivings and making sure that the trial's only casualty was Hans's reputation.
  • Billy H. putting his science expertise to use and immediately identifying the poison in the third case.
    • Also from the third case, Astarte seizing on Captain Hook's song declaration about never making promises he can't keep.
    • A third from that trial: after two long trials before, the players managed to solve and finish up the third case before midnight Eastern Daylight Time on DST turnover day. Why is this awesome? Journal Roleplay tends to use Plurk for OOC communication (and at the time, it was basically the only thing used for this purpose), and DST switchover there, at the time, came with what RPers call the "Dark Hour glitch", which made using the site practically impossible for people living in areas that use DST. That made it for all intents and purposes a Timed Mission, unless they wanted to scramble for one another's Skype or Discord contacts (Discord had not yet fully established itself as an equal to Plurk for DWRPers) or wait to continue the next day, and the players pulled it off perfectly.
  • Dark Cain trying to send Jezebel into existential shock, but failing as she asserts that she and her life as she knows it are real, no matter what happened in his version of the story.
  • The fourth culprit's fistfight with Anna.
  • Billy Flynn's filibuster, proving that the best Rules Lawyer is an actual lawyer. He points out every single contradiction the Management's made with the setup and decides to straight-up filibuster while being threatened and running on very little sleep.
  • Billy Harris and Anna protecting the painting in Week 7.
  • Just about everyone gets one in the final trial:
    • Billy Harris makes a speech about how he refuses to be a supervillain anymore and is sticking to his redemption.
    • He and Anna then decide that We Need a Distraction and get married. Yes, right in the courtroom. Crosses with Funny Moment.
    • Hans invoking True Love's Kiss after his villainous reveal came with stonewalling an attempt to do the same in canon. Talk about showing your character development.
    • Raoul's Rousing Speech that leads to all the survivors rejecting their own roles.
    • Jezebel stands up to the Leading Player and tells her that wanting to avoid a happy ending just because everything else has one is, not in so many words, just being an edgelord.
    • Even the dead get one when D-ne realizes that the rule against leaving the courtroom only applies to the living, and they go rushing in and out of the courtroom with buckets and even a pot of mud to try and put out the fire.

     Round 2
  • The climax of the round has everyone rejecting the SQUIP's offer of new, "improved" friends by showing that mistakes are what make us human. They then decide to spare the SQUIP and give it a chance to see what being human is like by helping it make a body, giving it a sense of purpose beyond its programming.

     Round 3
  • The Eleven O'Clock Number, full stop. It's an actual music video with custom art and a medley sung by the Round 3 dead and stated to reach not only the living but the casts of Rounds 0, 1, and 2. The show of love not only proves the Wizard wrong, it allows everyone to come back to life and frees them from the prison they were trapped in.
