  • You have to admit that it's damn impressive how 4chan managed to find the final iteration of "He Will Not Divide Us" within five hours, with even fewer clues to go off of than earlier iterations.
  • Hello Games' triumphant return after managing to fix the many issues with No Man's Sky.
  • In spite of the ship sinking and the lives unfortunately lost, the Costa Concordia incident brought us some cool moments.
    • Roberto Bosio was an off-duty captain (of the Costa Serena, the Concordia's sister ship) who was on his way home when the Concordia struck land. The moment the disaster started, he immediately took initiative and coordinated evacuation of crew and passengers when Schettino did not, risking his life by staying as long as he possibly could and being the last crew member remaining on the bridge. He only left to more directly help passengers evacuate to the life boats. He and De Falco (talked about more below) saved hundreds of innocent people's lives.
    • The Chief Engineer Giuseppe Pilon, along with many of the other ship engineers (and like the engineers of the RMS Titanic), risked his life staying in the engine room for as long as possible working with the emergency generator to keep power to the ship going. Because the generator's cooling fan wasn't working due to flooding, he had to manually turn it on and off with a screwdriver to prevent it from bursting into flames or possibly even exploding. And keep in mind, he and the other engineers did all of this while the engine room was filling with water. He and the others only left the engines when nothing else could be done. Fortunately, he survived.
    • The ship's safety officer note  was one of the few crew members along with Bosio on the bridge who truly understood the scope of the disaster and was taking steps to save lives from the moment of the initial collision. When Schettino told him to order the engineers to stay despite the hopeless situation, he defied the captain's order and told the engineers to abandon ship. This probably saved Pilon's life.
      We're leaving.
    • When Deputy Mayor Mario Pellegrini heard about the disaster, he got a ride from a local tobacco shop owner to the nearest dock, then took a lifeboat to get on board the sinking ship to find someone in charge... but once he realized that he couldn't find one, he immediately began helping passengers escape to safety.
    • The head of the Livorno Coast Guard, Gregorio de Falco, didn't believe Schettino when he claimed the Concordia was just having a blackout, and immediately prepared a rescue effort that saved lives.
    • After learning Schettino had abandoned ship, de Falco immediately called him about it, and the captain said he'd slipped and fallen into one of the lifeboats. del Falco had none of his lies:
    • When Schettino refused to go back to the Concordia and shut off his walkie-talkie in a childish attempt to stop being yelled at, de Falco simply called Schettino's cell phone to continue putting him on blast for abandoning his crew and passengers to save his own skin. All of this earned him an overnight promotion to hero by the people of Italy (and eventually a Senate seat) thanks to taking charge of the situation.
    • Unlike some of the other people highlighted in Historian's videos, Schettino got what he deserved and got thrown in jail for sixteen years for his cowardice and incompetence, in spite of his multiple appeals. It's especially cathartic considering his negligence, incompetence, and complacency actually got people killed.
  • Historian's totally accurate recreation of the events of the raid on Area 51.
