  • On the second episode of RAW of 2016, we see The Social Outcasts take on the Wyatt Family and all four of them are extremely confident, despite the fact that Wyatt Family pretty much are much stronger and bigger than them. However, surprisingly, the group despite being vastly overpowered by the Family (Strowman single handily beating them down without much effort) still keep going and manages to get a few shot on the Strowman before Ryback interferes to get his revenge of the Wyatt's. The kicker is that you expect them to run away during the confusion, and let Ryback get mauled by the Family, right? Wrong, all four of them stick around and help fend off Ryback from the Family sending them running...okay it's more like them proving momentary distractions so Ryback can send them out of the ring but the fact still stands that the Social Outcasts were willing to fight off the Wyatt Family of all stables is pretty cool.
  • Slater shows his fearlessness yet again. This time? Against Brock freakin' Lesnar. After interrupting a promo from Paul Heyman on the 8-12-2016 episode of RAW, Heath asks for a match against Brock Lesnar; if he wins, he gets a contract on RAW and gets to be in Summerslam. Normally this would be a straightforward squash, but as Paul Heyman tries to tell Heath Slater to leave before he gets mauled, Heath persistently interrupts Heyman and says that he needs this contract to feed his two daughters (and a varying amount of kids). He makes it a point to ask Heyman to fight Brock instead of demanding it. He subverts his usual stupidity by saying doesn't want to face Brock Lesnar, and he admits he's just going to get his ass kicked, but he has to, for the sake of his family. After Brock himself tells Heath that he "doesn't give a shit" about his kids, he gives him one last chance to back away because he's getting pissed off. Heath goes after Brock anyway. While Heath does indeed get taken to Suplex City, Heyman makes it a point that Heath Slater has more guts than the likes of Randy Orton and 90% of the locker room to face Brock Lesnar head-on and not back away.
  • Slater got another Awesome moment with Backlash 2016, wherein he not only finally got a contract after being overlooked for the Draft, but also became one half of the first ever Smackdown Tag Team Champions alongside Rhyno.
Slater: [to his wife] WE'RE GETTING A DOUBLE-WIDE, BABY!
  • Incredibly, Slater had one of the best moments of the 2018 Royal Rumble. Coming out at number 5, he was beaten down by an eliminated Baron Corbin before he could get into the ring. This set up a running gag where the next five guys paused on the way to the ring to hammer Slater more (except Big E Langston, who fed him pancakes). When #11 Sheamus came out, he decided to finally toss Slater into the ring. At which point, Slater charged and clotheslined Sheamus over the top rope, eliminating him in just two seconds. The crowd went insane, possibly the biggest pop of Slater's career, complete with a "YES!" chant.
