  • Dan punching Chuck for trying to rape Jenny in the pilot.
  • Dorota's ringtune for Eleanor Waldorf is "I'm A Slave For You".
  • Chuck and Blair in the limo. For many fans the moment when the show went from "an okay watch" to "must-see".
  • Eric outing himself at Asher's party and giving Blair permission to send the photo of him kissing Asher to Gossip Girl.
  • "Dude... I'm Chuck Bass. Even Europeans must know what that means."

Eric: Please stop acting like you and I have any kind of relationship.
Will: You're right, I have a lot to make up for.
Eric: I'm sorry. The window for that closed somewhere between my twelfth birthday and my suicide attempt. Don't worry, I'm fine now. Going through all that without a father made me realize that I don't need one.
  • Chuck attempting to seduce Blair by lounging on her bed wearing her velvet robe and sniffing her macaroons. Bonus points for the fact that it would have worked if Dorota hadn’t shown up.
  • In Hi, Society, Chuck watches Nate and Blair go into the hotel room.
Gossip Girl: Spotted: Chuck Bass, losing something no one knew he had to begin with: his heart.

  • Despite being such a divisive character, Jenny has quite a few moments.
    • Jenny leaving Blair's sleepover.
    • Jenny worming her way out of social ruin for stealing Hazel's mother's dress by convincing Nate to meet up with Penelope, who harbored a major crush on Nate. Blair arrives back to the table just in time to see her ex-boyfriend flirt with her minion, and her nemesis welcomed back into the top all while Jenny fixes her with a very smug and very earned smirk.
    • In general, Jenny actually managing to go toe-to-toe against Blair in season one, despite being much younger, poorer, and inexperienced in the art of social power and manipulation.
    • Jenny revealing the REAL reason why Blair banished her from the city is a CMOA in and of itself. The line she delivers after? Icing on the cake.
Jenny: Give it UP, Blair. Everyone knows I did. AND who I gave it to.
Jenny: Despite what happened today, I can't beat you. In order to beat you I would have to become you, and I'm better than that. At least I want to be. You two used to be in love and together you were invincible. But now that you've turned against each other, it's just a matter of time until your mutual destruction. And when that happens, maybe I'll think about coming home. But for now: goodbye, good riddance, and good luck.
    • In "Gaslit," Vanessa decides to completely throw Jenny under the bus and blame her for the entire plot against Serena- which Jenny only joined to defend Vanessa herself- Jenny confesses her part and the entirety of the plan to ruin Serena's life to Blair, and later texts Vanessa a short but poignant message.
Jenny: I told Blair everything. Good luck lying your way out of this one.
    • Blair crowning Jenny as the Queen of Constance.
    • Jenny coming back from being humiliated by Graham backing out of being her escort and escorting another girl at literally the last second by getting Nate Archibald to be her escort, much to everyone's awe. As one of the onlookers stated: "Nate Archibald is...... epic"
