    Saiyan Saga
  • The Flash putting down Raditz who had this point had curbstomped Kakarot, killed Hal Jordan, and was fighting Flash and Martian Manhunter at the same time. To elaborate after Raditz sets Martian Manhunter on fire Flash decides to Lets Get Serious and accelerates exponentially exploiting his powers and physics to create an Infinite Mass Punch that shakes the planet and drops Raditz out cold.
  • How Nappa is taken down. He's easily defeated Aquaman and Hawkgirl, smashing an arm off the former. Batman arrives to the rescue in a suit of Power Armor but says he needs Nappa to bleed. Despite having lost an arm, Aquaman fights on, managing to cut Nappa across the eye before dying from his injuries. Nappa isn't slowed down and destroys Batman's suit, asking what the point of it was anyways. Batman states it was too get close and releases a cloud in Nappa's face. Nappa soon finds himself fighting Batman, and can't win. Outside it turns out it was all a hallucination brought out by nanites Batman injected into him.
Nappa: But you're just… the intel said you were just a guy in a bat costume! I'm a warrior on Apokolips!
    Batman: And I'm Batman.

  • Kakarot facing All Yang in the mindscape. All Yang is attempting to manipulate Kakarot into drawing on the power of the Great Ape and surrendering to the anger, turning him into All Yang's pawn. Because Kakarot doesn't readily surrender, All Yang has to play nice and answer his questions about the Saiyans. This backfires as it causes Kakarot to accept the Saiyan side to him and that as horrible as the Saiyans were, they themselves were also victims, all while drawing the power of the Great Ape in bursts. All Yang concedes defeat and acknowledges he will never be able to manipulate Kakarot.

  • Kakarot's return to face Raditz. Raditz had easily defeated him before, killed Hal Jordan, and it took the combined efforts of the Flash and Martain Manhunter to slow him down. With Kakarot's newfound power, he completely overwhelms Raditz.

  • The fight between Kakarot and Vegeta. Kakarot has gotten stronger, but just in canon, Vegeta is still in another league. Kakarot has to resort to using the Wrath State, and the bursts of power enrage Vegeta so much that the anger from a lower-class Saiyan hurting him actually rekindles his pride as Saiyan, something Kakarot even points out.
    • Kakarot and Vegeta's Beam-O-War. Unlike in canon, Vegeta is actually winning at first before Kakarot surrenders to the Wrath State. While he loses control of the Wrath State and begins mindlessly powering up he's actually winning the fight as opposed to canon where Vegeta had him on the ropes without realizing it.
    • Vegeta transforming into the Great Ape. As the narration points out he didn't have the weakness of losing his senses to the power like Kakarot. Between this and his greater base power, he easily wins the fight.
    • Even though Vegeta defeats Kakarot the fight isn't over. Lex Luther turns out to have a Kill Sat designed to neutralize the Blutz Waves used to transform into a Great Ape. It doesn't work because the Mother Box built into his armor that supplied Blutz Waves, but it showed how Luther had been using his good publicity to prepare to kill Kakarot.
    • Wonder Woman cuts Vegeta's tail off, and Luther's Kill Sat fires off a full power blast. Even with the damage he takes from this, Vegeta still keeps fighting, tanking the Bat plane being crashed into him and managing to knock out the Flash before Wonder Woman finally defeats him.

    Entity Saga
  • Flash and Mera's arrival on War World Mongul announces how the challenger in the Gladiator Games, Mighto, has fought his way to face the champion. Mera states she had heard of Mighto, he was an opponent who gave Wonder Woman one of her toughest fights. As Mongul goes to introduce the champion, the audience recognizes a familiar face as music from Dragon Ball Super: Broly plays. The champion bursts into the ring and defeats Mighto with a single blow before Mongul can even finish introducing him, revealing to the audience it's Broly.
    • When Mera is possessed by the Butcher, while it's difficult, Broly actually manages to restrain her long for Wally to reach her. Wally knows the pain of losing someone else from the death of his mentor Barry Allen. Nothing he can do will bring back Barry, but Mera can bring back her husband. This is enough for Mera to calm down and gain control over the Butcher.

  • Batman is possessed by Parallax. This gives the audience a fight between Batman and Kakarot on equal terms thanks to Parallax's power but leaving Batman enough control use his martial arts skills. The two clash with very different styles, Batman's is more focused while Kakarot's is more free-form. While evenly matched at first, Kakarot slowly takes the upper hand and causes Parallax to panic and resort to fighting via brute force and energy constructs and creates a bat the size of the moon. Kakarot responds by using one of his own in the shape of Shenron.

  • Back on Earth, Orion shows up to kill Vegeta. Having seen how Wonder Woman uses her bracers, he uses the ones in his armor to deflect an attack from Orion to blast his cell open and escape. Running past Diana, he warns her that Darkseid's son has come to kill them. As she has no idea who Orion is, and he views her as an obstacle to killing Vegeta, this leads to both of them fighting.
    • When Vegeta spouts that Virtue Is Weakness one too many times while proclaiming only the truly evil are strong, Diana finally has enough and restrains him with the Lasso of Truth. Proclaiming that strength comes from doing what is hard, not from cruelty and abuse, she states she could kill Vegeta right then and there, and because of the lasso, Vegeta has to admit she is right, no matter how much he doesn't want to. She proceeds to wrap the lasso around her arm and states that cruelty is driven by fear and forces Vegeta to admit what fear drives. Once more Vegeta tries to fight the truth and fails. but also shows what a pitiful, frightened man he is beneath all his bluster.
Wonder Woman: That is a lie. Abuse and cruelty is not strength. It is selfish cowardice. Strength comes from doing what is hard. From mercy and love. Here you are, bound by the golden perfect. The lasso of truth. Under my boot. I could kill you right this second. Couldn't I?
    Vegeta: ...Y-Yes! (Painfully groans)
Wonder Woman: Killing you in this moment would be easy. Cruelty is '''easy'''. Your power comes from the same source of all cruelty. Fear. So tell me, Vegeta, Prince of Saiyans, what are you afraid of?
Vegeta: T-That... No matter how strong I become I'll never be stronger than HIM. For all my power, my pride, it is insignificant compared to the rock of his unyielding will. Vegeta Prince of all Saiyans. Nothing. Darkseid is.
Wonder Woman: The lasso reveals all lies... even those which we tell ourselves.
Vegeta: I was a boy and I saw my father, brother, my entire race, wiped out. My birth right, crushed and thrown into the wind. I faced the monster that did it. I was broken by him, and Darkseid was there to rebuild me in his image. You speak of strength through love. But after all the evil I've done, for the Saiyans and in Darkseid's name. No one could ever have love for me. I must be evil!
    • Wonder Woman actually starts to feel pity for Vegeta and tells him something he would never expect.
Wonder Woman: I love everyone. Even you. And that is what makes me strong.

  • Hawkgirl, Martian Manhunter, and Larfleeze come across a planet where they think there might be another emotional entity, and their ship is destroyed by a vengeful Carol Farris, who blames the Justice League for Hal Jordan's death. Hawkgirl and Martian Manhunter are nearly killed before. But destroying the ship managed to piss off Larfleeze, who comes to the rescue with an army of the avatars of beaten foes, which included a number of Saiyans who turn into Oozarus by looking at the full moon.
    • Larfleeze proves far too strong for Carol, forcing her to become a host for the Predator. This leads to a clash of Lanterns who are both wielding the power of their respective Emotional Entities which threatens to tear the planet in half.
    • Seeing that Carol and Larfleeze's fight will destroy the planet and everything on it, Hawkgirl gets between their clashing beams and absorbs some of their energy into her Nth Metal wings while striking at Carol's beam with her mace allowing Larfleeze's beam to push it back, even as the beams nearly break her apart. Martian Manhunter can't stop her, so he tries to let her spend her last few moments in piece with a mindscape he constructed with pieces of her favorite past lives. This is enough for the two to finally admit their feelings and Hawkgirl's pure love, not soured by mourning, causes the Predator to abandon Carol as host in favor of her.

  • Rogal Zaar has been using his gadgets mixed with hit-and-run attacks to wear down Kakarot before going in for the kill. Kyle Rayner stands in his way even though Sinestro took his ring. Rogal Zaar initially throws him aside non lethally, before asking why Kyle insists on protecting a being whose race causes so much pain. Kyle states he is a Green Lantern and is sworn to defend all life. As Rogal Zaar prepares to kill him, Kyle recites the Badass Creed of the Green Lantern Corp, but then, he knocks Rogal Zaar back, having become the host to Ion.
    • Seeing the other heroes return, combined with the threat of Kyle hosting Ion, is enough for Sinestro to step back into aid Rogal Zaar. He gains the upper hand on Kyle due to his inexperience, having he previously mocked him as "no Hal Jordan" when he took his ring. Batman gets close to the fight and advises Kyle to just create, not think much about what he is doing. Kyle takes that advice, forms a dragon and bat construct, and blasts Sinestro into space. Sinestro is shocked, noting Kyle is channeling more than just willpower as Kyle takes back the ring he stole.

  • All attempts to kill Rogal Zaar fail. Larfleeze was exhausted from battling the Predator, Kyle had exhausting himself using Ion's power. Kakarot's refusal to quit allowed him to become host to Adara, but all his attack did to Rogal Zaar was slow him down and use up energy from hosting the entity. Creating a portal to Earth, everyone but Kakarot and Batman depart. Knowing Rogal Zaar will follow them through, they stayed behind. Rogal Zaar, the villain who was created to kill Saiyans and despises them with every fiber of his being, is so impressed he discards all his weapons besides his spear, swearing "No, more, tricks."
    • Showing how much of a Crazy-Prepared Combat Pragmatist he is, while Batman threw away his utility belt, he still had gauntlets that sprayed fear toxin in Rogal Zaar. He berates Batman for his that move, asking if he has no honor. Batman replies "I cheat."
    • As Rogal Zaar is about to kill Kakarot Batman takes the hit giving a smirk implying he intending this to motivate Kakarot. Rogal Zaar tosses Batman's corpse away, detesting that his weapon was used to kill a foe he found so dishonorable. The sight of this pushes Kakarot to the breaking point. Seeing his friend's death was too much and with his fury, he became a Super Saiyan. The moment is every bit as awesome as in canon, with the video even using original art of Kakarot in his superhero outfit as a Super Saiyan. Rogal Zaar is terrified by what he sees, witnessing the feared warrior of legend standing before him. Only his mission to wipe out the Saiyans keeps him focused. As Kakarot angrily calls out to how many of his friends have to die until Rogal Zaar stops, Rogal Zaar is trembling as he responds.
    • Now a Super Saiyan, Kakarot, who had previously been struggling to offer any resistance, proceeds to wreck Rogal Zaar's shit. He's now moving so fast that Rogal Zaar can't see him, and the hunter's size and bulk keep him landing a single blow while Kakarot hammers away at him. Refusing to quit, Rogal Zaar swears on the blood of the Daxamites and the Tuffles that he will kill Kakarot. His tenacity doesn't do him any good. Notices that Kakarot keeps floating in front of him, Rogal finally manages to actually manages to hit him, but his blows no longer affect him. Kakarot even lets him land a blow to show him how outclassed he is. Kakarot even delivers a bit of Trash Talk in response to rubbing salt in the wound.
Kakarot: Sorry, even I'm surprised at how strong I am right now. You said you were going to kill me?
Rogal Zaar: You dare mock me! After everything your people did, I was created to avenge the Tuffles, yet you act innocent of your peoples' crimes!
Kakarot: That's why they were destroyed. All things need balance, my master taught me that. It's why I'm here now, to destroy you.
    • Seeing Kakarot preparing to deliver the coup de grace, Rogal Zaar realizes he's lost and decides to take his own life to avoid a Saiyan killing him.

  • The Entities being brought together. Nobody has any idea how they are supposed to be used to summon the Life Entity until Kyle figures it out. Previously, characters had exhausted themselves just from acting as a host to one. Kyle takes in all seven, and taking advice from Kakarot and Batman, empties his mind and simply creates. He discards the Green Lantern Ring he had borrowed from Hal Jordan, as he channels the power of the entities to create a White Lantern Ring. He then utters one word;
    Kyle: Live.
    • And the power of the White Light brings back everyone who died in the Saiyans' attack. In a move very satisfying to fans who felt Raditz and Nappa were wasted in canon they are brought back as well.

    Super Saiyan Saga
  • Kakarot lands on War World. Mongul is worried about facing him and resorts to something, which initially appears to be sending out Raditz. In the next episode, Kakarot is living a happy life as a family the Kents and a reformed Raditz. That is until Bruce Wayne shows up and has a few words that feel out of place for this perfect world. Kakarot realizes that what he's seeing isn't real, and breaks free of the dream world, which turned out to be brought on by the Black Mercy. Even beyond the grave, Batman returns to aid Kakarot.
    • Having befriended Kakarot when he landed on War World, Broly had attempted to free him of the Black Mercy, ignoring Mongul's warnings. He had started to disobey his oppressor, and Mongul couldn't do a thing to stop him.
    • Enraged over the pain from sacrificing a perfect world, Kakarot demolishes Mongul. He loses control thanks to his rage and uses the bulkier Super Saiyan form, which despite being impractical, Mongul is so outclassed that it doesn't matter. When he did manage to hit Kakarot back with a kick to the head he hurt his foot. In response, Kakarot knocks him out with a single blow. As he holds the beaten dictator, the crowd calls for the tyrant's death, Paragus urging him on to kill Mongul and assure an age of Saiyan dominance led by the Super Saiyan. Kakarot refuses, he swore he would be better than a man who just wanders about getting into fights. Mongul is soon subjected to the Black Mercy himself, and Kakarot leaves him since there is no way Mongul would never have the will to leave his perfect dream world.
    • With Mongul beaten, War World rises up in revolt. Kakarot and Broly aid the uprising ensuring what would have been a short living uprising turns into a full-on revolution. As they head for the ships they see Paragus trying to flee. Seeing his son disobey him Paragus engages his shock collar. Kakarot is confused as to why Broly appears in so much pain, noting there is no way that collar should be able to hurt him. Broly realizes that is the truth, and it wasn't the collar that hurt him but the pain of his father's cruel betrayal. He stops being a doormat for his father and proclaims "I... will not be controlled... EVER AGAIN!" Kakarot had previously stated Broly was strong but thought he could take him, but at this moment he gets a sense of how powerful he really is.
    • Broly nearly crushes Paragus in his own ship like he did in their movie of origin, but rips out of it instead. He's still about to kill Paragus but then... Kakarot convinces Broly to spare Paragus. He, rather naively states things will work and Paragus can't be all bad. Paragus is shocked that the Super Saiyan is saying such things. He reflected on how despite wanting his freedom, his life under Mongul's rule was the same as under King Vegeta's. And he kept believing King Vegeta's words about how the Super Saiyan was supposed to be a warrior who lived for war, death, and destruction. He starts to think about how this was likely another of the king's lies, and if the prophet of the Saiyan race is standing before him, only a fool would hold onto the words of a mad, failed king. It causes Paragus to admit Broly deserves better and seeing that his son doesn't want to keep fighting, tells him to go his own way. Paragus opts to stay on War World for the rest of his days.
      • In essence, this series caused Paragus to make amends for how treated his son, something he never had the chance to do in canon.

    Doom Saga
  • Lex Luthor learns that a research facility on the moon is being attacked by Deathstroke, the Parasite, and Major Force. As he sends Superboy out to face them he offers the use of a teleporter to reach the moon. Superboy declines, and states the distance from the Earth to the moon, noting it is over two hundred thousand miles away, which he considers a short distance. A distance that he jumps.
    • Superboy effortless beats the villains when he arrives on seen. Faster than anyone can see, he punches a hole in Major Force. Deathstroke sees how outclassed he is against Superboy and, gives up. The latter doubles as a Funny Moments.
    • Superboy takes Parasite too lightly and assumes he can overwhelm him with too much power, and in response, Parasite turns into a blob and swallows him. Unable to locate a weakpoint that Luthor pointed out, Superboy uses the last of his energy to blast Parasite off him. It isn't enough to win as he is left too exhausted to fight, but it was enough for him to survive.

  • Kakarot's arrival. Having drained so much energy from Superboy, Parasite doesn't take him for a threat. Kakarot admits Parasite is stronger than him but doesn't take him for a threat either, dismissing him for his lack of skill in using his power. He quickly proves his point by using his pole to keep Parasite away without touching him by spinning it around to use as a makeshift shield, before stopping it and flinging Parasite off the ground. The previously unstoppable villain is reduced to being used as a kite as he is stuck on the end of the pole and Kakarot tosses him into orbit.

  • The fight against Godspeed proves to be of these both for the villain and for Cassandra Cain. Godspeed's Speed Force fueled antics prove to be so great that not even turning Super Saiyan lets Kakarot keep up though he makes a serious go of it with also suffering pain from his damaged heart (which earns some respect from Godspeed). Cassandra gets her moment when she calmly hides and waits until the exact right moment to put her fist in Godspeed's face just as he is building up speed for the final attack on Kakarot using the villainous Speedster's own momentum to defeat him.

  • Manchester Black shows up with a team of supervillains to attack the White House and kill Lex Luthor. Luthor doesn't feel remotely threatened, even as the super-strong Solomon Grundy grabs him, drags him out of the building, and attempts to crush him to death. The armor Luthor wears under his suit is failing as Grundy is crushing it, around which point Luthor spits in Grundy's eye sealing his fate. Grundy then attempts to crush him for good and finds his body can't move on its own. Luthor spitting was not an act of defiance, he caused trillions of self replicating nanomachines to be injected into the zombie that he controlled with his own thoughts. He then forces Grundy to pummel and rip apart his own body. Luthor's confidence implies he could have done that anytime he wanted.
    • Luthor donning his armor turns the fight with the villains into a one-sided slaughter. Their combined efforts overwhelm Subjekt 17 and the mind-controlled Kakarot, and before Manchester Black can even make a move against Luthor, he fires off beams from his wrist into Manchester's brain that lobotomizes him.

  • Gohan put his training to work against Silver Banshee. At first, her sound powers leave him helpless and he can't pick out Banshee from all the sound clones she created. The narration states the situation five months prior he would have lost. But thanks to training with Kakarot and Cassandra, he managed to calm himself and sense the ki of others, something he failed to do against the Parasite and sensing that Cassandra and Kakarot are dying he knocks Silver Banshee out with a single blow before saving Cassandra from freezing to death. After the fight, Luthor even admits to Kakarot that Gohan has greatly improved under his guidance.

  • Kakarot vs the Justice League: All of it. On both sides, the characters display amazing feats that equally show off just how powerful Kakarot is and how much the Justice League has improved as a result of being inspired by Kakarot's ceaseless drive to become stronger.
    • The entire reason the event is taking place is one. Lex Luthor has been using his authority to subtly damage the Justice League's reputation and previously when acting as a 'hero' had pushed the Justice League to channel all charity/publicity events through Lexcorp but now he's not an active member of the group the League is under no obligation to pander to Luthor, so they host a tournament-charity event that both shows off the power of the heroes of earth but also lets the general public sees the Justice League as people like anyone else who can have fun and inspire others.

  • The event kicks off with Green Lantern vs Kakarot in a Solar system scale game of baseball with the 'ball' in question being one of Kakarot's energy attacks, Hal Jordan having first hit the attack coming at him clear across the solar system and then having to run to Pluto and back before Kakarot can get back to Earth. Green Lantern damn near manages it, with even Kakarot's managing to create a faster-than-light movement technique that he has fine control over not being enough to outpace the Lantern. Hal only loses because Kakarot uses a Violet Rift to teleport himself and the energy ball directly into Hal's face when the Lantern reaches Earth's orbit. The Green Lantern proceeds to tank and contains an explosion magnitudes stronger than the one that killed him during the Saiyan Saga and goes right back to amicably joking with Kakarot.
  • Kakarot vs Mera and Aquaman. The contest is to see who can biblically part the oceans and then run dry through the opening. Mera shows off her power by splitting the seas for miles, holding back an insane volume of water through sheer will with Aquaman Super-Speed running through the gap and crossing the distance in seconds. Kakarot's effort in response is to fire an energy blast that circles the planet splitting the oceans as it does and which keeps circling the world again and again with Kakarot predicting it should keep this up for hours on end. Mera gracefully concedes the match to Kakarot on the spot.
  • Wonder Woman vs Kakarot Round 1: A match of weapon skill with both combatants showing off their enormous proficiency with their chosen magically crafted weapons of choice. After an intense struggle, Kakarot manages to disarm Wonder Woman of her sword only for Diana to reveal that the sword was purely a distraction as she was carefully laying her lasso down throughout the fight to act as a snare with which she binds Kakarot and wins the round.
  • Kakarot vs Hawkgirl: Both charge at each other and collide mid-air trying to push the other back through one of two respective floating goal posts-rings. As a result of intense training since the Entity, Saga Hawkgirl is now strong to evenly match base form Kakarot force for force, which Kakarot is sincerely impressed by to the point he pulls out Super Saiyan to try and get the advantage. Hawkgirl is revealed to have planned for this and uses her Nth metal wings to absorb the Super Saiyan's power both weakening Kakarot and supercharging herself, this lets Kendra drag Kakarot through the opposing ring and win the round.
  • Batman vs Kakarot. Dick Grayson proves himself as a different Batman than Bruce but just as deserving of the title by taking part in the event with the challenge being a Gotham-scale game of hide and seek. Dick manages to hide himself from Kakarot's Ki sensing and efforts to find him via superspeed and flying failing, even Kakarot's hysterical idea of simply walking into Arkham and asking the Gotham Rogues where Batman might be found doesn't work. Eventually, Kakarot's Saiyan sense of smell and long familiarity with Dick's sent lets him track down Batman as he beats up criminals but it's a near thing and Dick Grayson laughs of the win with good cheer.
  • Kakarot vs The Flash. Starting in the city of Atlantis the two race across the planet going all out, crisscrossing the world in the span of a second. At this point, it's being established that speedsters who can tap into the Speed Force are one of the few Always Someone Better players on Earth compared to Kakarot with him never managing to break through that ceiling by outpacing the Flash and those like him before. In this race Kakarot pushes himself beyond his limits and then some, simply refusing to collapse from exhaustion and heart pain and through sheer willpower going faster and faster, breaking through his ceiling. The narration provides an all but mythic quality to Kakarot and Wally West - The Flash being neck and neck, with Kakarot thinking to himself that this was arguably the greatest challenge he could face in this universe and is determined to meet it. Wally just barely wins the race but is left in stunned awe by the fact that Kakarot got that close to winning.
  • The Final Round: Wonder Woman vs Kakarot, a knock down drag out fight with the strongest heroes on the planet throwing all their skill and superhuman power at the other in a world-shaking fight that ends with a powered-up Diana using a Lasso of Truth enhanced strike to match Kakarot Super Saiyan Dragon Fist in a beautiful original animated scene that could come direct from Dragon Ball. The fight ends in a perfect tie, though Diana declares Kakarot the overall winner of the tournament and crowns him the Strongest in the World as thanks for inspiring the heroes of Earth to grow to such heights.

  • Kendra's Dying Moment of Awesome is up against an ambush of powerful villains who have prepared for this fight and have her outnumbered and in a location that hinders her usual fighting style. She pushes beyond her limits and takes down two of the attacks in an instant, sending Blackfire into a Villanous Breakdown by both surviving her attacks and mocking her boasts about being powerful, with Kendra snarking that compared to a Super Saiyan Blackfire is *nothing*.
