Awesome / Christopher Daniels

  • His 2000 "Match of the Year" in Ultimate Pro Wrestling vs. Kurt Angle.
  • His surprise return to ROH at the "Big Bang" PPV, following his release by TNA.
  • Triple X's Six Sides Of Steel match against America's Most Wanted is argued to be TNA's greatest tag team match ever and the Christopher Daniels's triple threat against Samoa Joe and AJ Styles at Unbreakable is a frequent contender for TNA's best match ever, with the latter match becoming the only match in the promotion's history to date that was rated five stars by Dave Meltzer.
  • His Dynamic Entry on the March 31st edition of Impact!, in which he took out all of Immortal by leaping off the top of a steel cage to save Fortune from a beatdown, making his return to TNA and aligning with Fortune.
  • More a moment of "evil awesome" than just "awesome", but still Final Resolution 2012. Defeating AJ Styles with his own Finishing Move in their 'last match ever'.
  • Daniels' performance in Ladder War VI at All Star Extravaganza 2016. Yes, The Addiction lost the ROH tag titles, but Daniels took some of the ugliest punishment ever and still kept going (the worst was when The Motor City Machine Guns literally put him in between a ladder and used it like a panini press). It got so bad that everyone watching felt for him, even though The Addiction had been vainglorious dickheads for a long time.
    • This promo he did in the lead up to Ladder War also helped give him some sympathy points as well as some awesome ones, since he talks about his retirement being "the first death" and how it may be closer for him than ever.
  • On 3/10/17, at ROH's 15th Anniversary Show, Daniels defeated Adam Cole to finally win the ROH World Championship, after he and Frankie Kazarian managed to sucker Bullet Club by having Kazarian seemingly join them only to stab Adam Cole in the back at the last minute.
  • The man is now in his 50s and still busting the Best Moonsault Ever like it's nothing.
