Bug Fables has its fair share of awesome.

Moment Subpages are Spoilers Off. You Have Been Warned.

  • Anytime you beat a boss with the Hard Mode medal equipped. Especially if it's an Optional Boss.
  • Kabbu has one in the boss fight against The Beast, the monster responsible for the death of his old adventuring party. Near the end of the fight, The Beast nearly wipes out the party with an unavoidable attack that deals 99 damage to each member. Kabbu toughs it out through sheer willpower alone before having a Heroic Second Wind that restores his health and buffs his attack stat, allowing him to slay The Beast and get justice against his nemesis.
  • Queen Elizant gets one when she's had enough of King Hector's rudeness. When the yappy little bug crosses a line by making a jab at her mother's obsession with the Everlasting Sapling, she verbally slaps him down and shuts him up by hammering home how blinded by pride he and his wife are for refusing to take the Wasp King seriously, winning the respect of Queen Layra in the process. While Team Snakemouth has to do the heavy lifting by fighting in the colosseum to truly convince the termites to help, Elizant deserves credit for tackling a major source of doubt and anxiety by proving that she's just as good a diplomat as her revered mother.
  • After Team Mothiva basically tries to sabotage the attempt at forming an alliance with the Termite Kingdom, Kabbu of all characters finally tells her off for being an idiot and a witch and then proceeds to beat her (and Zasp) up with the help of his team. It really says something that the only other time we've seen him this angry was against The Beast, which had literally killed and ate his best friend and their mentor. Kabbu finally losing his cool here is definitely one of his better moments. And not only does said beatdown happen in front of an entire crowd of her fans, but said fans ignore Mothiva and start cheering for Team Snakemouth, leaving the violent narcissist to stew in impotent rage.
  • Finally getting to defeat the Wasp King at the end of the game. Even better? He managed to power himself with the Everlasting Sapling and Team Snakemouth still takes him down.
  • Gen and Eri, of all characters, have one in their optional sidequest. When Team Snakemouth defeats Cenn and Pisci, the two rascals boast that they didn't foresee their plan, since the escape route is open, and they immediately flee. But as they escape, they discover it hard way that their escape route was booby-trapped with a sleep bomb, set there by Gen and Eri themselves, who had expected them to try and bail, and already set the "surprise present", and, with them sedated, proceed to boast that the two rascals didn't foresee their plan, and apprehended them, ready to ship them off to be judged. They may be the weakest of all exploration teams, but they are still an exploration team for a reason, and should not be underestimated.
