Awesome / Banjo-Tooie

Go To

It's not a sequel without expansions to the world and repertoire, and these moments make taking down Gruntilda all the more satisfying.

  • The Final Boss against Grunty is her piloting the Hag 1 from the intro. So in essence the final boss has you duke it it out with a freaking Tank and win.
  • This exchange before Grunty is fully defeated, which also counts as a Funny Moment.
Grunty: Okay, numbskulls. Time for the biggest, baddest spell I can muster... Prepare to join your buddy Bottles! You'll wish you'd never taken on the mighty Gruntilda Winkybunion!
Kazooie: Winkybunion? Is that your last name then?
Grunty: Err...um, no. Of course not. But don't you go telling anyone or I'll sue you...
    Banjo: Whatever you say, Winky!
    Grunty: Now DIE!
    • It's especially awesome for Banjo, because he of all characters hardly ever snarks like Kazooie. He must be really fed up with Grunty after all she put the duo through. Plus, Banjo and Kazooie had already revived Bottles before battling with Grunty.
  • Mumbo oxygenates all of the water in Jolly Roger's Lagoon, thus giving Banjo infinite air for that world.
    • Heck, pretty much everything Mumbo does in that game can count as this; from controlling golden statues, making it rain, making things bigger, and bringing the dead back to life.
    • When Mumbo uses the "enlarging" spell on Wumba's tent, the two's magic ends up combining to form the Daddy T-Rex transformation for Banjo, whose roar is loud enough to scare away the Unga Bunga guarding the Oogle Boogle tribe!
  • Turning Kazooie into a dragon. Now light your enemies up. The best part? It's not confined to one world. You can take Dragon Kazooie literally anywhere in the game.
