Awesome / Annie (1999)

• When Lily blabs to the other orphans about Rooster and Miss Hannigan's plan while waiting for their return. The girls take it upon themselves to save Annie. They do so almost effortlessly by needling the woman for information, then pointing out the simple logic that Rooster is just going to leave her behind when he and Hannigan get the money.
• "We love you, Miss Hannigan!"
  • Followed by this:
  President Franklin D. Roosevelt: In the name of the United States government, I command you to halt!
  Miss Hannigan: Who you think you are? The President?!
  (Roosevelt rolls into view in his wheelchair)
  Rooster: Geez, Aggie, it is!
• Annie throwing Miss Hannigan's "Never tell a lie", lesson back in her face.
  Miss Hannigan: Annie, Annie, tell these people how good I've always been to ya, huh?
  Annie: Miss Hannigan, I would, but the one thing you always taught me was... (plucks the reward check out of her hand with a smile) "Never tell a lie".
  Miss Hannigan: (suddenly looks terrified)
