Set in a future following an apocalypse, Ital travels the barren world with a war android called Zaxon and a young woman called Sahari.

- Bittersweet Ending: Siegfried has been destroyed, putting a stop to his carnage, but Sakuya gave her life in order to ensure it has been stopped and Zaxon parted ways with Ital and Sahari.
- Good Republic, Evil Empire: Completely inverted, the sparse backstory had an Empire and a Republic destroy each other in a cataclysmic war, but it's clearly stated that it was the Empire who was noble and the Republic who was villainous.
- Military Mashup Machine: Siegfried was a truly immense one (coupled with a mobile war factory) as The Heavy's base of operations.
