- Date Peepers: During the Mayuri Judgment movie, the other girls - usually Tohka and Yoshino, and the Mayuri herself - follow around Shido during his dates with the girls.
- Disappears into Light: Mayuri's fate was disappearing in a flash of light after kissing Shido.
- Generic Doomsday Villain: Since the movie is more about Shido's personal relationships with the Spirits, Mayuri included, than anything; Kerubiel is introduced simply for the sake of having a physical antagonist for the heroes to fight.
- Love Hotels: Yuzuru actually dragged Shido into a hotel called Alien Denai. The embarrassed face she had when she gets out heavily implies the hotel to be this.
- Non-Serial Movie: The film is an original story supervised by the author, taking place between seasons 2 and 3 of the anime adaptation. It had no impact on the main story, but Mayuri herself gets a faceless cameo in the season 3 premiere.
- Pure Magic Being: The titular Mayuri is created from the collective energy possessed by the Spirits. She inherited their feelings for Shido and has been observing their dates over the course of the movie. Unlike the regular Spirits, however, Mayuri does not possess complete control over her Angel, which goes on a rampage, forcing Mayuri to sacrifice her life to stop it.
- Red Baron: As with other Angels, her Kerubiel has one, "Thunder Sanctuary"
- Tragic One-Shot Character: We are introduced to the titular Mayuri, a girl that constantly spies on Shido's dates with his harem. She is actually an entity created from the girls' residual magical energy, and like them, she has developed feelings for Shido as well. She sacrifices her life to protect Shido at the end of the movie, but at the very least gets to experience love and die peacefully in the arms of someone who truly cared for her.
- Wave-Motion Gun: Kerubiel's most powerful attack is a large energy beam capable of generating a kilometers-wide explosion.
