4 Angies (โฟร์แองจี สี่สาวแสนซน) is a Thai All-CGI Cartoon that was produced by Homerun Entertainment and Anya Animation from 2006 to 2011, lasting three seasons and receiving a movie simply titled 4 Angies: The Movie in 2010. The series is based partially off of a Thai talk show known as Woman to Woman (ผู้หญิงถึงผู้หญิง), with the characters' personalities being based off the mainstays of the show, and aired on Channel 3.

The series focuses on the adventures of four girls, who collectively call themselves the Four Angies. They consist of Pui, who has a bag that can hold anything, no matter how big; Kai-chan, who can cast a spell on people she makes eye contact with that will cause them to follow her orders; Nina, who will dance uncontrollably if she hears any energetic enough music; and Kalamare, who can physically manifest words that she shouts. Together, the four have adventures in and around Angel Elementary School, where they deal with such annoyances as a harshly strict teacher and a group of mischievous boys known as X4.

All of the episodes, as well as the movie, have been uploaded to YouTube by Homerun Entertainment, though only in the original Thai.

4 Angies contains the following tropes:

  • Bag of Holding: Pui's bag can fit anything into it regardless of size.
  • Banana Peel: In episode 14, Kai-chan has a dream multiple times throughout the episode about her slipping on a banana peel and being dragged back up from the ground by a boy, who she assumes to be her true love.
  • Barely-Changed Dub Name: The French dub changes Nina's name to Ninon.
  • Character in the Logo: The logo seen in the series intro depicts 2D versions of, from left to right, Pui, Kai-chan, Kalamare, and Nina.
  • Dancing Theme: The theme song shows the main characters doing a simple dance to the music at one point.
  • Embarrassing Hobby: As is demonstrated in episode 11, the principal of Angel Elementary School is shown to have an interest in toys and will still freely play with them despite being a grown man. This is why he disallows students at his school from bringing toys to class, not just because they're a disruption to his pupils, but also because he doesn't want anyone knowing he's a toy geek - so much so that he even has a room where he plays with toys in secret.
  • Good Angel, Bad Angel: In episode 8, a shoulder devil and angel appear to convince Kalamare to cheat on a test by copying from Nina's work, and to do the opposite, respectively. Eventually Kalamare gets so fed up with the shoulder devil as she and the shoulder angel give her conflicting advice throughout the episode that she grabs her and throws her out of the way, onto the branch of a tree.
  • Introductory Opening Credits: The first half of the intro gives the names and appearances of the four girls, as well as demonstrating their magic capabilities.
  • Involuntary Dance: Nina will dance involuntarily at the sound of fast-paced music, the basis of her spinning "Nina Twister" move.
  • No Name Given: The principal of Angel Elementary School is never identified by name.
  • "Number of Objects" Title: 4 Angies, referring to the group of main characters who collectively call themselves by that name.
  • Puppy-Dog Eyes: Kai-chan's magic spell amounts to her making adorable eyes at the person she's talking to so that she can convince them to do (or not do) something.
  • Screams Like a Little Girl: In episode 11, the principal gives a high-pitched, girl-like shriek when Pui sees him playing with some of the toys in his room.
  • Shout-Out: Some of the toys the principal plays with in episode 11 are Power Rangers/Super Sentai-looking minifigures. In addition, one of the toys he has on a shelf looks like Batman.
  • Super-Deformed: The character designs, with their large heads and eyes, have a very chibi-like appearance to them.
  • Team Title: 4 Angies is the title of the show and the name that the main characters collectively call themselves.
  • Title: The Adaptation: 4 Angies: The Movie.
  • A Twinkle in the Sky: In episode 23, one of the X4 boys uses spring shoes to cheat at a jumping event in the sports competition. When he jumps into the air, he goes far enough to disappear with a twinkle before coming back down seconds later.
  • Why Did It Have to Be Snakes?: Kai-chan has a fear of teddy bears, due to having been crushed by a large one when she was younger.
