Tamaki gives Haruhi a crash course in hosting and it doesn't go so well. He questions how he'll be able to get 100 customer requests and says that he doesn't have the looks, the main problem being his glasses. Upon removing the glasses, the hosts gasp. Tamaki springs into action to give Haruhi a makeover. At the end, and changing into uniform, the club looks and is amazed, especially Tamaki. Haruhi looks like a completely different person.

The next day, everybody is surprised to witness the new Haruhi. Later at the Host Club, a crowd of girls surrounds Haruhi as he talks about the life of a commoner. Haruhi explains his situation and how he wishes to study hard, for his mother. Pulling out a picture of his mother, the girls are moved to tears and swoon over him, and make a request to be with Haruhi. The other hosts look in amazement as to how natural Haruhi is when it comes to talking to girls.

Meanwhile, Tamaki's heart is beating (literally), attracted to how cute Haruhi is. Ayanokoji attempts to get his attention and Tamaki apologizes. Haruhi is overwhelmed by the loads of work that the Host Club has to do and the strange student appears once again. He introduces himself as Nekozawa and offers to get rid of Haruhi's troubles in the Black Magic club. Haruhi thanks him for the offer but declines and asks how if he's hot in all his clothes and removes the hood of his robe. Nekozawa lets out a piercing shriek and retreats from the club room. The club members inform Haruhi that Nekozawa is afraid of sunlight and they hope that he is not cursed for doing such a thing to him.

The next day, Haruhi's locker mirror is smashed and her bag is missing. Haruhi clearly remembers that he left his bag in his locker, eventually finding it in the school's fountain, and begins thinks that a bully did it. Nekozawa claims it was a curse and tells him to be careful, suddenly Haruhi notices that his wallet, including his living expenses for the week are gone.

Ayanokoji appears and says that the money is not important and questions Haruhi for being jealous of the life of a rich person, insults his life, and states she'll never drink the commoner coffee. Gathering all of his items, Haruhi finds everything but his wallet. He suspects Ayanokoji of doing it but has no evidence she did so. Tamaki appears and offers to help Haruhi. He's scolded by Haruhi saying that he'll get himself wet. Tamaki isn't worried saying that water will never hurt the handsome guy. The other members of the club also offer their assistance.

Next day at the club room, Ayanokoji has requested Haruhi. Asking if the wallet has been found, Haruhi says that it got late so they all had to leave. Ayanokoji once again berates Haruhi and not to cause the club to suffer as well. Haruhi finally comes to a conclusion about Ayanokoji. "Are you...jealous?" Those words strike a chord with her as she tries to pour water on Haruhi. Tamaki intercepts and says once again that water doesn't harm the handsome guy. She tries to explain, but it turns out that the Host Club has been onto her this whole time. Kyouya shows everybody pictures of her throwing Haruhi's bag into the fountain. Tamaki states that those who bully their staff are not fit to be their customers.

Angered, Ayanokoji questions why they meddle in Haruhi's affairs and gives her wallet to Haruhi for his living fees. Haruhi cannot except the fees for it was his own fault for losing the wallet. The Club is once again amazed at how Haruhi handled the situation. Just as she's about to leave, Tamaki announces that next week there will be a commoners coffee party, and asks if Haruhi would allow Ayanokoji to be invited. Haruhi gladly agrees.

As an apology, Ayanokoji buys a years worth of coffee for the host club. Tamaki reveals that he had found Haruhi's wallet. Haruhi thanks Tamaki for finding it and he ends up dropping it. While picking it up, Tamaki sees Haruhi's ID and photograph discovering that H Aruhi is a girl. Apparently everybody but Tamaki was aware of that fact. Haruhi doesn't mind acting like a boy and says that Tamaki was pretty cool yesterday. Tamaki's heart is struck by an arrow (once again, literally). They can only come up with one conclusion: Tamaki is in love.

Comments; First ep is done. Don't know when exactly Ep 2 is going up. But anyway, it was kind of difficult not giving away the fact that Haruhi isn't a girl in this liveblog. Aww, well.

Nekozawa and Ayanokoji seem to have a much bigger part in this adaption.
