Part Three: Revenge of the Pooh

Three things happened when we last left off Pooh and Friends. The First, Pooh and Friends find Agatha, the witch. The Second, Agatha receives a call from Samhaeim. The Third, Uh... the Olsens bicker on getting plastic surgery.

Apparently, the person who made this got permission. As in the user asked Disney if it was okay if he had Pooh cross over to a WB movie, and Disney accepted it. Yet we live in a world where Shigeru Miyamoto of all people says that Sonichu is the worst idea anyone has ever suggested to him. It’s messed up.

Part 3 of 8

So the Olsen (okay, the movie says they are the Farmer family but I will refer to it as the Olsen family for the sake of reference) Family can’t pay off their debt and so the bank will take back the house. Cue everyone (Well, okay, it’s just Tigger, Piglett, Mewtwo, and Ash) going “WHAT?” even though they just met the bloody family. And really? They are in the very house? Hasn’t anyone noticed them? Or are they outside and they can hear everything from inside? If so, where the hell are they camping? Won’t the parents get suspicious at the fact that people are not only following them around but also camping outside their house? This is full out stalking. They can get arrested for this! So one of the twins asks where will they go and this funny exchange comes up.

Peter: They can stay with us at the firehouse.

Winston: PETER!

Peter: Hey, I am just giving a suggestion.

Boba: And it was a good one too.

This made me giggle a bit. Again, I will give the movie credit for that. It kinda makes me think that Pooh and his friends are really just the Greek Chorus, MSTing the movie with childish remarks. Heck, the above dialogue reminds me of the “CROW!” Running Gag. Again, these bits are rare. If that is what this genre is aiming for, I would love to make Phil and Zodd’s Adventures to Terabithia.

So the twins decide to go find the moonstone and rescue Sophia. Staypuff over hears (again, no one notices the freaking gigantic marshmallow man) this and has the group decide to help the twins rescue Aunt Sophia. The response is perfect. “YOU WANT US TO DO WHAT?” and apparently, everyone says it. Mewtwo on the other hand says it is a brilliant plan (what plan? All Staypuff says is that they should help the twins, no actual thought was put into it) and Egon decides they should engage with the plan. So from what I can see, Egon is the true hero of the show, since he does all the decisions and is already leader of the Ghostbusters. Oh, they do camp outside. Ah...

So the twins sneak off by bribing two kids with wearing their costumes and they find a hobo they nearly killed after they threw a coin out of the bridge in an attempt to flip it. He leaves and one of them asks where he went. The sister Darth Vader says he went under the bridge and... you know what? If they are following the twins, shouldn’t they tell them that they will help, instead of being silent and stalking them? And wouldn’t the twins be a little freaked out by Darth Vader? Any who, one of the twins The Good Fairy asks what the hobo is doing, and he says that this place is his home, because well, he is a hobo. And apparently, this awes Pooh and the others or at least gives them a collective oh. Oh, and it turns out that the hobo was that windshield washer dude.

The hobo joins up after noticing that the girls are looking for a 200-year-old stone and he says this:

Mr. N: Two little girls traveling with an expensive gem stone...

Notice how he never mentions the Ghostbusters, or Ash, or anyone else... He then offers his "protection" even though it's obvious that he's gonna snatch the stone first chance he gets, and that he didn't seem to notice that the twins are backed by powerful forces like, say, GOD-FREAKING-ZILLA? He goes by the name of Plato Noffsider, or Mr. N for short. They go to some fortune teller who is as useful as Pooh himself. One of the Olsens waves her magic wand and causes Pooh to be awed as it shows a vision in the ball. This is a great analogy for the entire series. The Fortune Teller is Pooh, and the Olsen is the actual Protagonist of the movie. Anyways, the twins and the hobo hop on a pumpkin truck as it drives off. I remember this one scene from The Last House On The Left (the old one) where two cops tried to hitch a ride on a chicken truck, however their weight couldn't make the truck move. Now imagine that scene, but with a dozen more people and two Kaiju. They get off using questionable means and run off. The reactions from the characters... are gonna be repetitive. Oh, yes. So now, the truck driver is chasing them.

Will our heroes be caught? Find out next time!
