Prologue: Welcomes and information

Hello, all who are currently reading this! This is the opening page of what will be the storage place for all my liveblogs of the Fire Emblem series of games. In here, I will be updating chapter by chapter as I play through the games and hopefully make those updates as fun to read as possible!

The next page will be a Table of Contents, since this will eventually get fairly large, and it will make categorizing which games are being covered in which liveblog installments much easier.

Continue forth onto the next page, and hopefully enjoy your time reading!

Bishop is actually a separate class from High Priest, but it's enemy only. I think you fight a Bishop boss early in the next chapter.

You probably noticed, but the Valkyrie Staff broke. Being a healer, Claud doesn't have the money to fix it unless he gets paired with someone who can get a lot of money. I don't recall if the staff needs to be intact to be passed down, but I wouldn't risk it.

Time For Backstory: Remember Maira? Remember how I mentioned that his followers saved Blaggi from being sacrificed? Blaggi was raised by the Maira Lopto guys and one day went off and became a Crusader. When it was all over, he went back to the monastery where the Maira guys had raised him, and saw that the Lopto Empire had burned the place to the ground and killed everyone. Blaggi had a tower (the Tower of Blaggi) built on top of where the monastery stood to honor Maira and his followers, who sacrificed their lives to save people from the Empire, and to show that there were people within the Empire who tried to help people. However, over time the inscription of the Tower faded away and the Tower's purpose was forgotten.

Ah right, I remember fighting a Bishop in chapter 2. Clement or something was his name, the dude who guarded Mackily in chapter 2 and used the sleep staff on people.

Yeah, it broke, but I plan on giving Claude a tome (somehow) and having him blast through the arena if possible and get some more money to repair it before he passes it down (how, I don't know, since I'm not sure who I'll pair him with).

Also, that backstory info was quite interesting. It explains why only Claude seemed interested in the tower (dude related to the crusader it was built for would likely know something of it's history), and learning more about Maira is a cool way of learning about the Lopto empire.

I believe thieves can give money to others, as well, as an alternative method to get that staff repaired. Not sure though.

Taking a while is fine, since I've been on the road and away from the internet for a week. One less thing to catch up on!

Yeah, Dew can hand off money to anyone, but his supply is a bit low since he's not been able to fight these more powerful enemies.

Dude, you missed an opportunity to give Dew (and Delmud) the Wind Sword, as well as a chance to boost Midir and Briggid's relationship points.
