Do We Have This One?

Needs Examples

A certain statement or action was meant to be outlandish, and at the time the story it appears in was created, it was outlandish. But now time has passed and the statement or action is reasonable. This is different from Values Dissonance because it involves something going from unreasonable to reasonable, rather than moral to immoral or vice versa.

Example: Egon saying "Print is dead" in Ghostbusters (1984).

Just a reminder; Hats are for tropes that are ready to launch please do not hat proposed tropes with fewer than three examples. On that note I'm throwing in a bomb to offset undeserved hats, not as a comment on the proposed trope itself, and may change it if this gets better fleshed out.

Nah Fridge Brilliance is when something made sense at the time the story was created but you didnít realize it till after you thought about it for a while. This is when something was genuinely weird at the time and was meant to be weird but would be a reasonable thing to say/do now.
