Original working name idea: I've Got A Good Feeling About This — a line of dialogue

Where someone takes an extremely wild guess and it ends up being correct.

Compare Accidental Truth, when it's not parsed as a guess or an answer.

Examples:

  • In an episode of Wheel of Fortune, a contestant guessed the phrase "I've Got A Good Feeling About This" based on the L in the word feeling. It was the first turn of the round and she had less than the house minimum, but she still solved the puzzle.
  • In an issue of Runaways, Molly is disbelieving that Chase and Old Lace have been killed, positing an unlikely scenario wherein they survive. She's right.
Molly: Why aren't you awesomed by me?

Might work as a non-game-show-exclusive trope, but needs a more obvious name.

Compare If Only You Knew, when it's not parsed as a guess or answer. And Accidental Truth when they try to lie, only to realize that they're right all along.

Also compare The Cuckoo Lander Was Right, wherein a Cloud Cuckoolander's guess about something is accurate, and Properly Paranoid, where someone correctly predicts that something bad is going to happpen.

^This could be a Super Trope for those.
