Definitely, I've added it.

@A Groupie: That sounds more like something for Warning tropes.

What does everyone think about about None Shall Pass This Index?

Mar 6th 2011 at 9:12:14 AM

"This episode was poorly written" - the corridor full of choppers, grinders, mounted flame throwers, etc, that serve no functional purpose beyond endangering anyone (including authorized personnel)who tries to pass thru it.

This Trope Has Obstacles to Overcome? Something like that for a name?

  • And, as a possible quote, my mind jumps to the scene in Galaxy Quest where they have to go through an obstacle course of all kinds of flamethrowers, smashy-things, et cetera: 'No! I won't do it! Why are these here?! What possible purpose - ?!'

I think that's a bit wordy for a trope title, however I do like that quote. Adding it! :)

No opinions on "Tropes Course" as a title???

Mar 8th 2011 at 4:37:59 AM

^ It's fairly non-indicative, because between the words "obstacle" and "course", course can mean several different things.

So far for titles we have Obstacle Tropes, None Shall Pass This Index, Tropes Course, This Index Is In The Way, This Index Is Impeding You, and You Must Overcome This Index. Could everyone please let me know which title you prefer?

If there is no clear winner, I will probably just go with the simple yet effective Obstacle Tropes, since clarity is key for an index title.

I vote for This Index Is In The Way

Mar 9th 2011 at 10:51:52 AM

I also like This Index Is In The Way, which would give it three votes. I'll give it another day or so to make sure no other options take the lead, and if not I will go ahead and launch it then.

Don't mind me, I'm feeling nitpicky.

Moment Killer should be before Mook Bouncer.

@Ace: No, please, I much prefer knowing when I've made an alphabetization failure. Thanks :)

@Noir: Added!

I will be launching this one later today if there are no objections.
