Is this about the pets, or the owners?

ALSO: I saw you trashed the last one because you couldn't edit. It's a bug.

^^ Either one, or both, depending on the situation, I think?

that's it? Only a 1 sentence description, and not even a few examples to start with?

^^ What I'm asking is, what is this trope actually about? Because it can work as "neglectful owner who doesn't care what their pets do" or "aggressive housepet" but is this specific situation that combines both really a trope in and of itself?

^ Some tropes list "situations where it applies". This one likely would, too.

^ I guess what I'm saying is, this may be Too Specific To Trope or Too Rare To Trope. Without seeing examples on the page, it gives me a bad feeling, and I just feel like there's tropes within the situation that are more, well, tropeworthy...

^^ I'm just suspecting that the draft maker is a (disgruntled?) troper who doesn't get what he wanted from Trope Finder - and, more importantly, have never tried making a TLP draft before. (I don't think we really have this, though)

An actual example!

Film - Live Action

  • Airplane. An airline employee goes to Rex Kramer's house to bring him to the airport. The Kramer family dog acts very aggressively toward the employee and eventually attacks him. Mrs. Kramer acts completely unconcerned about her pet's behavior and ignores the employee's predicament.
