Page Action: Real Life Section Maintenance

Go To

What would be the best way to fix the page?

At issue:

Deciding which pages should have their Real Life sections removed. Reasons to do so include contentiousness and high potential for flame wars.

Vote UP if you think the page's RL section should be cut.

Items with the trope name stricken (like so) have already been decided, with ten or more votes and at least a 2:1 yes/no ratio. No further voting is needed on those items.

Dark Messiah: Just another way of calling someone evil.
[-[Added 9 June, 3:15 AM]-

Evil Cannot Comprehend Good and Good Cannot Comprehend Evil: These are Good/Evil tropes and, as stated on No Real Life Examples Please, calling real people "good" or "evil" is something that isn't liked on this site.
[-[Added June 8, 7:00 AM]-

Black Dude Dies First - Real Life deaths don't follow story conventions.
[-[added 25 May, 10:15 PM]-

Sympathetic Murderer: As done with Asshole Victim.
[-[Added 9 June, 2:30 AM]-

Evil Redhead [added 28 May, 1:45 PM]

Unfortunate Implications- List "real life examples" to it sounds dangerously close to complaining about Real Life.
[added 25 May, 1:30 PM]

The Smurfette Principle
[added June 4, 12:15 PM]

Dystopia Is Hard: It's just a perfect way to fill the section with Natter and create FlameWars. Plus, we already cut Dystopia Justifies the Means.
[-[Added 9 June, 2:15 AM]-

The Revolution Will Not Be Civilized: Kind of a given in Real Life, but there's too much potential for Natter and Flame War.
[-[Added 9 June, 6:15 AM]-

Doomed Moral Victor: Way too controversial, will attract Misplaced Nationalism.
[-[Added 9 June, 2:15 AM]-

Ax-Crazy: It should be left to psychiatrists, and it's not a matter for this site.
[Added 9 June, 6:30 AM]

Great Offscreen War - Just because you didn't live through it doesn't mean a real life conflict happened "offscreen".
[added 27 May, 9:30 AM]

Evolutionary Levels
[Added 1st June, 10:00 PM]

Big Brother Is Watching: Gratuitous Natter, too controversial, typical Dystopia trope.
[-[Added 9 June, 2:30 AM]-

Gone Horribly Wrong and Gone Horribly Right: Natter, too controversial, often boils down to calling someone "evil" or "villain" in a thinly veiled way.
[-[Added 9 June, 4:30 AM]-

Red-Headed Hero

[added 28 May, 1:45 PM]

It's Popular, Now It Sucks!: Seems to consist mostly of complaining about people not liking popular things
[Added 01 June, 7:45 PM]

Wounded Gazelle Gambit
[Added 01 June, 7:00 PM]

A-Cup Angst
[added 25 May, 9:15 AM]

Beauty Mark
[Added 01 June, 5:45 PM]

[added May 30th 10:17am]
