What would be the best way to fix the page?

At issue:

Deciding which pages should have their Real Life sections removed. Reasons to do so include contentiousness and high potential for flame wars.

Vote UP if you think the page's RL section should be cut.

Items with the trope name stricken (like so) have already been decided, with ten or more total votes, more than 48 hours on the crowner, and at least a 2:1 yes/no ratio. No further voting is needed on those items.

Light Is Not Good - Calling people evil.

Getting Crap Past the Radar:

  • Real Life does not have network censors or an appropriate target age.
  • Very few of the examples have anything at all to do with trying to get anything past anybody, but most are things that a dirty only in the minds of the person writing the example. Accidental Innuendo at best.
[Added 26th Oct '12 at 04:55:14 AM]

Dashing Hispanic: Most of the examples do not fit the trope and are just random examples of Hispanic people someone thought was cool.

Sorting Algorithm of Deadness

  • Pure Speculation
  • Deaths don't follow story conventions
  • They'd be "4"s anyway

Equal-Opportunity Evil: Calling real people Evil.
[Added 5th Nov '12 at 08:21:37 PM]

Fantastic Caste System - The trope is explicitly about fictional settings.
[Added 11th Nov '12 at 06:39:48 AM]

Gullible Lemmings: The trope requires a villain for the lemmings to choose, and the wiki isn't for calling Real Life people villains.
[Added 11th Nov '12 at 10:19:56 PM]

The Constant: It's a time travel trope.
[Added 15th Nov '12 at 08:44 AM]

Loser Son of Loser Dad - calling RL people losers isn't any better than "evil" or "jerkass", both of which are already NRLEP.
[Added 19th Nov '12 at 01:44:47 AM]

Dark Is Evil - Evil trope
[Added 28th Oct '12 at 04:51:34 PM]

Angry Black Man - This trope is a racial stereotype and how it is used in fiction. It's offensive and probably inaccurate to apply it to real people.
[Added 17th Nov '12 at 07:08:59 AM]

Magi Babble - There's no Functional Magic in Real Life, so this trope can't apply to it.
[Added 19th Nov '12 at 02:01:31 AM]

Red and Black and Evil All Over: Evil trope
[Added 28th Oct '12 at 04:43:33 PM]

Jerk with a Heart of Gold - Jerkass is already NRLEP, and "heart of gold" doesn't negate that this trope is still calling people jerks.
[Added 24th Oct '12 at 06:40:36 AM]

Hot Librarian - Attracts creepiness.
[Added 12th Nov '12 5:38:57 PM]

Mad Doctor: Evil trope.
[Added 28th Oct '12 at 06:41 PM]

Pure Is Not Good: Making a moral judgement.
[Added 29th Oct '12 at 02:59 AM]

Strange Girl:

  • The fact that it's not inherently negative doesn't negate that it's making a subjective judgement about real people.
  • The Real Life entries are all Zero Context Examples as well.
  • The trope requires Strange Girls to be protagonists. Real Life has no protagonists, just people.
