Image Pickin: I Call Her Verapart 2

Go To

Nominations for replacement images:

At issue:

The picture originally on I Call Her Vera showed the Trope Namers, but didn't clearly indicate how they were examples, as it did not include the gun's name or any indication that the gun in the picture was the Vera in question. We now look for a picture that clearly displays the definition of the trope: A weapon named after the owner's affection for it.

Team Fortress 2's The Heavy and his Sasha.

  • Pros: Clearly demonstrates the affection the character holds for the weapon.
  • Cons: Weapon's name isn't included in the picture.

Mr. Marlin and Betsy, from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003)

  • Pros: Shows the name of the gun, on the actual gun.
  • Cons: Doesn't show any of the user's affection for it — trope is not "any weapon with a name on it".

  • Pros: Added speech bubble improves the image.
  • Cons: He doesn't actually say that.

Gameplay pic of Team Fortress 2's The Heavy and Natasha.

  • Pros: Demonstrates trope by naming gun.
