But with Enterprise's out-of-commission warp coil, Archer must consider methods far removed from any sense of morality. Meanwhile, T'Pol struggles with her previous exposure to Trellium and the subsequent addiction to the neuroactive properties of the substance.

Archer: "I'm about to step over a line, a line I thought I would never cross. And given the nature of our mission, it probably won't be the last."

Season 3, Episode 8: Twilight

Captain Archer becomes unable to form long-term memories thanks to alien parasites getting into his cerebral cortex. He is relieved of duty as a result, and without him, the crew fail to stop the Xindi from destroying Earth.

Twelve years later, Archer wakes up in a human colony on Ceti Alpha V, where T'pol and Dr. Phlox may be able to give Archer - and Earth - a second chance.

Season 4, Episodes 20 & 21: Demons & Terra Prime

On the cusp of an interplanetary alliance being formed between humans, Andorians, Vulcans, Tellarites, Denobulans and more, the xenophobic group Terra Prime makes their presence felt, by holding Starfleet Command hostage until all non-humans leave Earth.

Season 1, Episode 7: The Andorian Incident

Archer, Trip and T'pol take a trip to visit a Vulcan monastery. And the kicker? They're not wrong.

Season 1, Episode 12: Silent Enemy
