!!''Comic:''
* BigLippedAlligatorMoment:
** The end of the first comic has a random side plot with Warrior coming to the aid of a woman attempting suicide after being pelted with rocks and called a "half breed". Before that, you also had some guy who comes out of nowhere and says "Believe this"; he is never mentioned again.
** The "Believe this" guy appears again in issue #4 (the one in black and white), when Warrior looks in a mirror in the real world. He's implied to be possessing Warrior's body (picking fights with everyone, killing world leaders, etc.) while Warrior's spirit is in the Terrain of Testament.
%%* DesignatedHero: Warrior.
* MemeticMolester: The Christmas Special has one picture of Warrior posing as SantaClaus while shirtless with a kid on his lap and another one where it appears Warrior has ''sexually violated'' Santa.
-->'''[[WebVideo/TheAngryJoeShow Angry Joe]]''': Nobody rapes Santa on our watch! Let's get him!
-->'''[[WebVideo/WrestlingWithWregret Brian Zane]]''': What is that monster doing to Santa Claus?
%%* NightmareFuel: The Christmas Special.

!!''Film:''
* SugarWiki/AwesomeMusic: Music/TheNational bookends the movie. The version of "About Today"' at the end of the film is nothing short of brilliant.
* ClicheStorm: According to Website/RottenTomatoes: "''Warrior'' relies on many of the clichés that critics of the genre love to mock -- [[Administrivia/TropesAreTools and it transcends them with gripping action, powerful acting, and heart]]."
* HilariousInHindsight: Wrestling/KurtAngle is well known for his {{Eagleland}} Type 2 gimmick in the Wrestling/{{WWE}}. He plays a FakeRussian in the film.
* HoYay: Brendan and Frank which was lampshaded by ''the former's wife'', Tess.
-->'''Tess:''' ''[giving the phone to her husband after speaking to Frank]'' It's your boyfriend.
* RetroactiveRecognition: Those familiar with Creator/FrankGrillo from his work as Brock Rumlow/Crossbones in the MCU might be surprised to see him here, playing an MMA trainer 3 years before ''Film/CaptainAmericaTheWinterSoldier.''
* ShipsThatPassInTheNight: Despite the acknowledged HoYay between Brendan and Frank, Tommy and Frank are the more popular ship despite never exchanging any lines of dialogue and not having any face-to-face interactions. This is likely due to Brendan being HappilyMarried to Tess while neither Tommy nor Frank display any romantic interest in women. Most of these fics depict Frank as having been attracted to Brendan in the past though.
* SignatureScene: Tommy easily beating Mad Dog unconscious in the gym is arguably the most well-known scene of the film, and is still quite popular on social media years later.
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: In both of Mad Dog's appearances he is quickly shown as all bark and no bite, as he is curb stomped by Tommy within a few seconds or a few minutes. Mad Dog could have been a tough challenger fuelled by revenge or he could have given Tommy a run for his money but Mad Dog is defeated without laying a punch on Tommy or even trying to force Tommy into a submission.
* TheWoobie: All three of the main characters. Where to begin?
** Brendan resents his father for treating him like TheUnfavorite because he wasn't as talented at fighting as Tommy.
** Paddy himself later becomes TheWoobie. Tommy, his long-lost son, appears but wants nothing to do with him other than training to fight in the tournament. His other son, Brendan, resents him for treating him like TheUnfavourite and will not let Paddy see his grandchildren. When Paddy drives to Brendan's house, Brendan gets upset at his coming, telling him that he's restricted to phone calls and mail, and then slams the door shut when Paddy tries to see his family. Tommy later fights with Paddy and induces him to relapse into alcoholism, leading to his panicky hotel scene.
** JerkassWoobie: Tommy was favored by his abusive, alcoholic father only because of his fighting talent. When he and his mother escaped the household, his brother didn't go with him, which he views as abandonment. His mother later dies, with only Tommy there to help her through her illness, and receives no support afterwards. He joins the Marines and is with his best friend until said best friend dies in a friendly fire attack. He joins the tournament to support the widow of his best friend, only to be alone in the ring in the fight against his brother, whereas Brendan has his wife and trainer with him. All this is with the knowledge that he will be forced into military court once the fight is over. However, [[SugarWiki/HeartwarmingMoments he eventually reconciles with his brother]] [[TearJerker and cries in his arms at the end of the fight]].
