This is the YMMV page for VideoGame/UrbanDead.

* SugarWiki/AwesomeMoments:
** The Battle of Blackmore took place in the historic haven for zombies and held out for two months. Caiger Mall was the survivor haven until November 2006, repelling two huge sieges before finally falling to a third.
** Caiger Mall again in December of 2007 - Until the new updates came. Technically, this was a CMOA for the Eastonwood Ferals, who breached the barricade and managed to keep it open for the others to get in, but all of the (undeserved) credit went to Kevan and his zombie buffs, which resulted in a great deal of human players leaving - and with them, the zombies, after the suburbs got empty.
** It should be stated that CMOA's in Urban Dead tend to run both ways. For instance, for the zombies the fall of Caiger, Blackmore, and so forth was the awesome part.
** Every day for two months was a CMOA for the Blackmore survivors, and the complete opposite for the zeds. The fall was just a return to the status quo.
** As far as the zombies are concerned, expelling the invaders from their homeland was most certainly a CMOA.
* BrokenBase:
** Roleplayers: basement-dwellers, or valid in an MMO? Many zombie and PK groups had a hell of a time mocking serious profiles, while it was seen as bullying by others.
** Is Kevan biased in favor of the zombies? This came to a head in 2007, when it became harder for survivors to barricade when zombies are inside a structure, coinciding with one of the biggest sieges in all of game history finally being broken by zombies. Entire players and groups left the game.
* FanNickname: "Harmanz", "Zambahz", "Zambah G-Zaz", the list goes on.
** These mean "Humans", "Zombies", and "Zombie Jesus", respectively, if you couldn't figure it out yourself. Most of UD's fan nicknames are just Zombified words.
** Also "zeds" for zombies
** An entire survivor lingo has sprung up, mainly centered around shortened words and acronyms. It's not at all uncommon to hear a survivor saying to keep the 'cades at VSB, and also could somebody please FAK him (i.e. keep the barricades at very strongly barricaded,The highest level of barricading that still allows street access to the building to other survivors; higher levels mean that the building can only be entered through Free Running, which some lower-level characters may not have yet. and a request for somebody to use a first aid kit on him).
* Fanon: On the wiki, to the point where the line between Fanon and Canon has become blurred.
** Part of the reason is that the backstory to player characters and organizations is treated equally to actual Canon backstory.
* GameBreaker: An exploit based on the way combat and search rolls were calculated used to allow players with careful timing to create "chains" of hits; after trying a few times and hitting once, if every subsequent attack made done exactly eight seconds later you would hit with every one (how exact you needed to be depended on your chance to hit). Fortunately, this has been fixed and the die rolls are now actually random.
* MemeticBadass: Petrojsko, the original leader of the RRF, gets this a lot. So do a few other old-timers who have been very, very successful at the game.
* MemeticMolester: ALSO Petrojsko, whose profile proudly states that he is wearing no pants.
