1* FandomRivalry: With ''Toys/{{Bratz}}''. It got pretty bad.* OlderThanTheDemographic: They're "cool" teenage dolls aimed at tweens.* TheyChangedItNowItSucks: Fans were not very fond of the newer webisodes.* GermansLoveDavidHasselhoff: Unlike their competitor ''Bratz'', ''My Scene'''s success didn't last after the 2000's. At least in the US. In countries like Canada and Mexico, the dolls kept selling and new lines were created up until 2011 when the dolls were discontinued altogether.* TheScrappy: Kennedy, mostly for [[ReplacementScrappy replacing Barbie]]. Not helped by the fact that she's paired with River (Barbie's boyfriend in this franchise) and the fact that both characters share similar personality traits and characteristics.* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: Barbie in ''Jammin' in Jamaica.'' She feels upset and jealous of River spending more time with Madison instead of her, his girlfriend and then runs off after seeing them hug. We're supposed to feel sorry for Barbie, but many people found her to be pretty selfish that she invited herself on the trip and was only worried about her spending time with River instead of the band for the competition, which is why they were on the trip in the first place. They also felt like Barbie was overreacting in assuming something was going on between the two. Instead of talking it through, she runs away and deletes photos from her phone. Her actions also cause the band to be disqualified from the competition.* WhatDoYouMeanItsNotForKids: Four of the dolls in the Spring Break collection came with music [=CDs=] featuring songs from artists such as The Black Eyed Peas, A*Teens, Shaggy, Smash Mouth, Sheryl Crow, Christina Milian and Robin Thicke. While some of the songs on those [=CDs=] had clean lyrics, others had some mild profanity and were about some rather questionable things that young girls shouldn't hear about.
