* AssPull: The Weldos in "A Quest for the lost Mixamajig". While they were expected to appear, they only show up in the last minute and act completely oblivious to everything that just happened.
* BaseBreakingCharacter:
** To some, Chomly is a hilarious and fun character due to his manic personality. To others, he's vindictive and petty, due to how he treated Flain and Slumbo in "Fang Gang Log Toss".
** Booger is divided between the fandom. Some like him for being a unique background Mixel, while others dislike him for being the focus of the finale, taking away from the established toy-based characters.
* BrokenBase:
** The Glorp Corp caused a major argument between the fandom on whether or not the members were going to be female or continue to be male. Eventually, information released with them as male.
** Later, when Gobba went instead of Jawg with the rest of the tribe leaders in "Mixed Up Special", there was a giant rift caused in the fandom on whether Jawg or Gobba was the leader.
** ''Every Knight Has Its Day'' got some negativity for not giving all three of the Series 7 tribes a major spotlight with one character, Tapsy, being completely absent from the episode. You can either see this a way to develop characters by not cramming too many major characters all in just one episode, or a lazy collaboration between the show and toy series.
** Thanks to Jamzy [[CrossDressingVoices being voiced]] by a [[Creator/CreeSummer female voice actor]], the fandom has been heated with arguements regarding Jamzy's gender.
* CultClassic: Despite only having 26 episodes and being overshadowed by many other Creator/CartoonNetwork shows at the time, the show developed a dedicated fanbase that enjoys and wishes for a return for the franchise.
* EnsembleDarkhorse:
** The fandom ''loves'' Scorpi. And Nurp-Naut is climbing in the ranks just as high as him.
** After Mixel Moon Madness, the Glowkies (Well, Globert and Vampos at least.) are ''very'' popular in the fandom.
** Vaka-Waka is one, probably due to his funny German accent and having two heads with different personalities that makes him a funny and likable character.
** Some of the background Mixels in ''Every Knight has its Day'' are this, particularly Booger, the Glowkie student, and the Teacher, who is the first female Mixel on the show.
* FanNickname:
** Flamzer was given the nickname "Shrimp Boy" by Mixels Wiki members. Vaka-Waka is "The Destroyer".
** Before their tribe name was revealed, fans jokingly gave the Weldos the nickname of the "[[Franchise/{{Transformers}} Constructicons]]".
** The Glowkie student that formed the Royal Mix along with the Medivals, Jamzy, and Booger in ''Every Knight has its Day'' has been nicknamed "The Smol Glowkie" due to his tiny size.
** The Mixels Wiki has given almost ''all'' of the QFM and EKHID introduced background characters a placeholder name based on the winning vote of the placeholder names vote.
** Five of the adult Mixels introduced in "Every Knight Has It's Day" (Principal Knave, Ranger Jinx, the Frosticon Narrator, the Flexer Teacher, and the Muncho Coach) are all five commonly collectively referred to as "The Mixadults".
* {{Fanon}}: One of the most common fan ideas suggested is that the core members of the tribes are brothers, bar a couple. This comes from the fact that the 2015 waves of the established tribes are called the "cousins" of the original iterations of the tribes. [[note]]The only exception to this idea are the Medivals, who are canonically cousins with a pet, and the Nindjas, who are more often seen as a master and students relationship.[[/note]]
* FanPreferredCouple:
** Krader/Teslo. Their interaction in "Hot Lava Shower" first sparked the ship up.
** Niksput/Flamzer and Flamzer/Vampos are also popular in the fandom, despite [[ShipsThatPassInTheNight Flamzer himself had little to no interaction to them]] in ''Moon Madness''.
** Thanks to their interactions on "Every Knight Has Its Day" and the fact that [[CrossDressingVoices Jamzy was voiced by a voice actress]], Camillot/Jamzy is another popular ship in the fandom.
%% * GrowingTheBeard: The largest consensus is that the second year of the series was where the series gained its footing, both in the show and toy areas. %% How did it gain its footing here?
* HilariousInHindsight: Earlier on, some fans made their fan tribes based on pirates, police, firefighting, knights, music, etc. Later, in 2016, Series 7-9 has official tribes based on those themes.
* HoYay: The fandom tends to do this with the Mixels, especially with Series 1 and Series 4 due to lack of female-specific Mixels.
* ItsShortSoItSucks: One of the biggest complaints about the series is that the short nature doesn't help when it comes to character development, and only leaves the audience wanting more.
* JustHereForGodzilla: Most people are here just to see their LEGO sets on screen, and others just to see the animation style or the famous voice actors.
* LauncherOfAThousandShips: Flain. Either he gets shipped with canon Mixels or fan characters.
* MemeticMutation:
** Rokit's derp face from Mixel Moon Madness has become popular with fans, most notably on Website/DeviantArt.
** [[http://mixels.wikia.com/wiki/File:C4D2DDD3-51BD-4FCB-A8B2-3B57326C1117.PNG Helloooo ladies!]]
** After the release of A Quest for The Lost Mixamajig's commercial, fan art depicting their fan characters holding the key of the Mixamajig and calling themselves "The Chosen One" started swarming in the fandom.
** Chomly got six.
** Are you deranged? I would love to have my ass kissed all day. [[note]]A rough EKHID storyboard of Mixadel saying this sparked much humor in the fandom. [[/note]]
* {{Moe}}:
** Scorpi. The fandom loved him when only an image was shown, their love multiplied tenfold when his official information came out and he was shown in motion. Even characters in-show comment on his cuteness!
** The Nurp side of Nurp-Naut qualifies as well, being a little baby voiced by an actual child.
* OvershadowedByControversy: Turg was originally called a "windowlicker" in the online store's description, which was an archaic, yet still offensive term in Britain. After a media frenzy, his bio was modified.
* ScrappyMechanic: The teleporter beams in ''Calling All Mixels''. One touch and you're zapped back to the start of the section. Naturally, the game has ''plenty'' of them, especially during timed levels.
* {{Squick}}: Krader's burnt [[LastSecondWordSwap bu- er... south]] in ''Hot Lava Shower''.
* UglyCute: A few of the Mixels (such as the Fang Gang and the Glorp Corp) and some of the resulting Murps (especially the Flain/Krader one).
* ViewerGenderConfusion: Jamzy is often mistaken for a girl thanks to having a female voice actor.
* TheWoobie:
** Seismo in "Coconapple". Not only can he not reach his favorite snack, but Zorch makes him mix and then go flying, injuring himself in the process. And finally, he gets knocked unconscious by the coconapple he wanted to eat in the first place (which Zorch ends up getting).
