* Awesome Moment: Dub memorizing an entire script in "Nasty Goats" and repeating it word for word, with no flubs after a cursory glance at it.
* Awesome Music: The theme song is without question the best thing about the show. The rapping skills Kel Mitchell showed in Series/KenanAndKel are put on full display
* BrokenBase: The episode "Game Shippers" has the main characters trying to ask Nathan Kress if Freddie loved Carly or Sam on Series/ICarly . The fanbase is split on whether it's a good way to honor iCarly, or a spit in the face of the show's fandom. Another point is whether the main characters are likable or not.
* DesignatedHero: The titular company's hijinks tend to involve law-breaking and reckless behavior. The biggest offenders are in "Game Shippers" (the gang tries to break into a hotel Nathan Kress is staying at) and "Super Ugly Head" (Dub illegally destroys a statue of himself he doesn't like and Kenzie tries to hide it).
* HarsherInHindsight:
** WebVideo/ProJared has a cameo in the pilot where he promotes the game, and we see him playing it in the shower (thankfully fully clothed). Awkward in light of his shattered reputation after cheating on his wife, extremely awkward in light of the accusations that he solicited nudes from teenage fans, although he later turned to be innocent and revealed that the accusations were actually false in a video.
** In "Buck the Magic Rat", Kenzie makes a comment saying the titular rat has dreams as does Creator/AnthonyBourdain. Bourdain committed suicide about a year and a half after the airing of the episode.
* HollywoodHomely: Creator/MadisynShipman is clearly attractive, but Kenzie is almost completely ignored by the male characters.
* JerkassWoobie: Dub in "Wedding Shower of Doom" and "Breaking Bad News".
* JustHereForGodzilla: Admit it, if you're not in the target audience and you're not an older fan of Schneider's work/how much crap can get past the radar, you're only curious due to Creator/KelMitchell and the various guest stars like Yvette Nicole Brown and WebVideo/ProJared.
* NauseaFuel: Hungry Hungry Hypno. If Kenzie's unstoppable food rage throughout the episode doesn't make you barf, seeing her... get close to Hudson towards the end definitely will. Seriously, how did that get past the censors?!
* OneSceneWonder:
** WebVideo/ProJared's "review" of Sky Whale, as well as [=GloZell=]'s appearance, both in episode one.
** Avoided with Lasercorn, who shows up several times in a [=YouTube=] pop culture show the same episodes as the previous [=YouTube=] personalities.
* RecycledPremise: Anyone else see Tracy Jordan-Liz Lemon in Double G-Kenzie?
* SpiritualSuccessor: Can be seen as Series/ICarly, but with video games. Characters such as Babe and Hudson resemble Sam and Gibby respectively.
* TakeThatScrappy: Anytime Double G suffers misfortune (having his hair be set on fire, twisting his leg after going on a water slide, getting BoundAndGagged in one episode for being a distraction) can be seen as satisfying considering how selfish and thoughtless he acts.
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodCharacter: Many WebVideo/ProJared fans watched the show to see what they would do with him. They were very disappointed to see he only gets a brief cameo in the pilot.
* TheyWastedAPerfectlyGoodPlot: The idea of a sitcom were random individuals develop mobile games could have been a good satire on video game development and a critique of mobile gaming. Instead, it's a by-the-numbers Nickelodeon sitcom with storylines and jokes that don't really take advantage of its premise. Additionally, the game development aspect becomes far less involved as the show goes on, with early episodes showing the characters gathering the materials and inspiration for their games compared to later on where they get into unrelated hijinks while game development is reduced to a background act.
* UnintentionallyUnsympathetic: Jordan, Double G's brother, in "Wedding Shower of Doom". He's held a grudge for 20 years towards Dub after he left their music group and went solo and how he now works selling fake grass. While his upset about losing his fame isn't unjustified, he has no right to be mad at Dub for his current job since Jordan was still very young when the incident occurred leaving him plenty of time to develop a more marketable skill. While he probably wouldn't be as rich as Dub, he certainly could've found a better job than a sod salesman had he not let the bitterness of losing his fame cloud his future.
